Ferguson isnt dropping VanNiss coz he thinks he's crap. It's just that Saha is doing really well.

ahh was gonna type out an elaborate answer, but can't be arsed. Ferguson is doing a good job.

No he doesn't. That's becasue he's a striker, and not an attacking mifielder.
Every time Ruud is outside the area at the end of an attack, he is out of position.

No need to be sarcastic, it was you that brought up a stupid point that really had no relevance. :rolleyes: He didn't say Ruud never has scored from outside the box, he just said he doesn't do it, implying that he doesnt do it often enough. Really, who cares if he scores or outside the box? :|

u have to put it this way ruud isnt going to be around for every he is wat 30 now and if sir alex didnt play ruud then saha i think whould have wanted a move and we would have weakened our attack big time saha cost 12m he isnt a micky mouse player he can score goals so relax every time a player has left united we have got throught it ok keano still dosent have a replacement

During the treble season we had 4 good forwards, yorke, cole, sheringham and the great ole solksjaer.

Fergie rotated and all was swell. I'm sure Van Nistelrooy understand why he is on the bench. When he gets his opportunity, he'll have a point to prove and he'll probably play even better than before.

In brief, I am not saying Saha doesn't deserve his place. Indeed, I've always thought he is a very good striker when he stays fit. Man Utd material, no doubt. I am just pissed off at the way he's treated by Fergie. How many bad games did our top scorer have before the Carling Cup final? The Liverpool game perhaps? But that's a disappointing performence from the whole team, you can't blame on any individual player. If someone has to take the blame for the performence, It's Fergie, for failing to build a decent midfield who can create enough chances. It's evident that the whole team plays a lot better with Saha in the side because his technique and pace. But to include him instead of Ruud in the starting team because of that is just a lame excuse for having a midfield lacking both creativity and physical presence. Put Ruud in a team like Barca or Milan, they will be much more deadly up front to the already awesome frontline without interrupting their flowing attacking football. For this reason, I really want to see Ruud join one of these teams just to shut the fu.ck up of Fergie.
