Which Club Has The Best Website?

I noticed Real Madrid's website sucks alot- not interesting whatsoever. however Inter's website is sweet with links to every gol plus daily pics from training and other interesting stuff. Barcelona's website is done nicely in flash and set up very pro. Man U's webstie is done nicely but you have to subscribe to get the gols...

So which club has it the best on the web? What makes a good (official) club website?

Arsenal's is alright, it has a usable design.

It's often slow to update though, and Arsenal+ obviously costs money.

I like the setup at www.mlsnet.com it's simple enough, but the best part is that it's easy to navigate between the various club's sites for all the news

Juve's website isn't anything special, but it's pretty nice and gets updated often. Steaua's rarely gets updated and some of its sections are really old, that's why I don't use it at all. (N)

(only some of them have but extremely rarely update)
naah..even our FA's website sucks alot.. www.fam.org.my

I like the Hearts site (www.heartsfc.co.uk) . Simple and effective.

I agree with you Shinji about the MLS site, it's easy to navigate and pretty awesome design to boot. (Y)

Benfica's website is pretty much a crap one.

No fotos, no videos (unless you subscribe), a f*cking boring design, a stupid and annoying mouse draw, almost no info about the youths...

The best Benfica website isn't the official, this is the best, www.serbenfiquista.com , although the design might not be very good it has all the info about all the modalities and the youths with reviews about all the games. Fotos and videos. All thanks to persons who do that for the love for the club with no profit whatsoever.

Can't say the same about the company that made our website (and also Porto's and Sporting's), and controls our image. Not to mention that they're taking out all the videos we had on youtube that suposedly belong to them, their job is to take the club name to a higher level, instead they are more worried with not letting US (real fans) do it. I hope thy burn in hell, seriously!

I like Chelsea's, innovative with the flash navigation but slight hard to understand at first because its different.

Once I graduate from college I want to start a web design company that specifically tailor's to soccer teams.

Liverpool's website hasn't changed(still looks ordinary) since 2005.

The Juventus website, on the other hand, has improved a lot. It looks AWESOME!!! And has plenty of free content. Not to mention VERY aesthetically pleasing......

AC Milan's site has also improved a lot, since 2004.

Inter's hasn't changed much since 2002(post World Cup, during the Ronaldo transfer saga)

Chelsea and Arsenal have each had their site improve A LOT since 2003. Very impressed with both....

I've always liked the color scheme of Celtic's website...nice and simple and really easy on the eye. Layout is also very good. Although, overall, Rangers' website is better.

Tottenham's site is good, although a bit too dark in the background.

BEST CLUB WEBSITE: www.manutd.com STILL remains the best website I've seen. This goes all the way back to 2002. Aesthetically and functionally, it is great and offers quite a lot of free content.

Most official sites suck a$$ though really. Never any need to go there unless for special events/news.

The sites of English clubs run by the World service thingie (which includes NUFC) especially suck. Anyway I realise this doesnt answer the question at all.

PS: The MLS one is pretty cool because you can watch all the highlights on it! :D

PPS: Hey what happened to blue guy smiley face? This green dude (:D) is just weird.

Exclusive content to members(in some cases, free) can be quite good. Plus, websites give a behind-the-scenes look at the club activities(training, etc.) between matchdays. I think that most sites contain these two features...to varying degrees though.

I guess I find them useful when looking for club specific information(especially leading up to big games, for example a Raul press conference before a Real Madrid game), beyond what is offered on the usual TV websites or uefa.com.

True, they are very generic.

Checked out the official websites of Borussia Dortmund, Werder Bremen, Schalke and Roma(no English version for AS ROMA, only Chinese and Italian versions available)...they were all rather dull and boring, although functional, in the sense that you'll get the news and a diehard fan will sign up(free in some cases, although I didn't bother checking in too much detail) for more access...........HOWEVER, a neutral may fall asleep FAST.

In comparison, the Steaua Bucharest website has quite a nice look and feel to it. Much better than any of the others in this post, HOWEVER, I couldn't find an English version.
