Where should Arsenal improve for next season?

Arsenal have done well this season, they have nearly won the double. Where do you think they should improve for next season. I think they should buy one defender and a midfielder.

Wenger has already hinted he would buy Hofland and VanBommel, I think them two alone will be perfect for Arsenal. I also think Wenger should think about buying Veron, he can fit better at arsenal.

Well, Wenger WON'T buy Veron, 'cause Man Utd wouldn't accept it, and all that Arsenal really need to improve on is there defence, but one or two defenders, and the mids are alright with Freddi, Robert,Wiltord, Parlour, Edu, van Bronkhorst, so mid and attacking are fine.
And if I am correct, i think Adams is retiring at the end of THIS season.

i think arsenal need to buy a defender with keown and adams not to far away from the end ... also they should sell jeffers, wright (manniger will be back) and kanu....as kanu has suggested he wants to leave .... also they need to keep their options open for the chance that viera goes to real. ...

I think it'll be unlikely that Vieira will leave now that Arsenal are going to win the double. It would have been a different case if they weren't going to. They need a defender or two because Adams is certain to go and Keown and Dixon are old and their time is almost up.

Where was Van Bronckhorst all season?
He played very little for a plyer of his class. I thought he'd be a full time regular by now. Was he injured? Did I miss something?

they also have alex manninger who is on loan at fiorentina ... he is ver ygood and has probably saved fiorentina from total embarrassment

we need a striker to complement henry-i hear mark viduka is not happy at leeds we could do worse than get him if leeds are prepared to sell, a RB & LB- because this season its been a miracle how we've coped when lauren and cole had been out and i'm not sure about Edu but viera needs a patner in that midfield who can have a couple of shots on target in a season

Maybe u should catch up on your club's news :D Van Bronckhorst's injury ruled him out for 9 months or so. :mrpimp:

Arsenal need a right winger. Van Bronck.. is going to play a lot more next season and Wenger will be forced to play Pires as a central midfielder which means Parlour is going to be virtually useless. Lauren has been too successful as a right back to play in the midfield so there'll be a vacancy on the right.
The person will need defensive skills to cover for Lauren.
I'd like Bowyer in that position, but he isn't leaving Leeds.
If I had a choice to get a player who is perfect for Arsenal, it would be DaCourt. A midfield of Van Bronck, Pires, Vieria, DaCourt, Bowyer...... would be a dream midfield. There would be no better defending midfield in the world and the attacking skills would match any other midfield.
I'd play 2 centre backs, Campbell and Stepfanov; and three upfront.
