Then they should change the name of the game to John Motson Soccer 2004 (think Madden Football 
) instead of FIFA. What is the point of getting the FIFA License then? Im not satisfied with having only 3 international teams to choose from but having 1000 3rd division English teams. When teams from the Champions league are missing, no matter what country they are from (Partizan, Dynamo Kyiv, Lokomotiv Moscow) it really spoils the game. It might not be feasible to buy the rights to the russian/serbian/ukraine/bulgarian/romanian/greek/south american etc leagues, but put in 1.) the national teams and a few of the top teams of these countries. There is no way that these leagues/football associations will be asking for more money then the likes of the korean and mls league. Ok greece is represented with a few clubs but where is AEK Athens, a champions league team?? Why is the dutch league in the game but not the national team??

Very true, I myself am Eastern European and would enjoy the game much more if there were the top teams from other countries than 3rd division England. And why isnt there CSKA Moscow? they beat the crap out of Inter Milan!!!!!
And as a responce for those waiting for more Eastern European teams:
Myself I'm lucky that my favourite, Wisla Krakow, is in the game, but face it: not many of those teams (Dynamo Kiew, Spartak and CSKA Moscow and Partizan are exeptions) and leagues are influential in worldwide soccer. I also think that EA Sports looks at where the game is being sold best: that's why Swiss and Swedish leagues are still in the game, though they are as little of importance (perhaps less) than Russian League, Greece or Turkish ones.
Basically they are looking at what is most profitable; you'll end up with the most popular leagues (which are the big ones), plus the best selling countries (Scandinavia, Alpine countries, USA, Brazil). As for Holland and Portugal, that have disappeared some while ago: commercial reasons, Portugal will host Euro2004 and EA sports definetly are willing to make a game about that. And the Dutch teams are now selling their rights independent from the Dutch Football association, that's why the clubteams have returned, but the official league name and the Dutch national side haven't.
So don't get upset for some teams or countries missing, 'cause it ain't EA Sports' fault, but the people that are giving away the copyrights.

That makes sense, but then how does EA expect to sell copies of FIFA in Romania/Serbia/Bulgaria etc when they dont even include their NT?? I can guarentee you that the Eastern European leagues/FA's would be glad to be a part of this game when they are getting paid for it. These leaguesare desperate for any bit of money they can get so that the teams in their leagues dont always have to sell their best players to the western countries for the minimum. In Canada, I am sure EA sells a lot of copies of this game, so why no team Canada? And its not like in USA its only 100% pure blooded americans that buy the game. Im sure that most of the people on this forum who live in USA are of some ethnic group who buy the game to play with their country of orgin.
