Where can I find a FIFA 12 roster editor?

Hi, I'm looking for a roster editor for FIFA 12 that allows one to edit player ratings as I'd like to make some global edits. The PES site always has 2-3 different roster editors for that game, but I can never find one for FIFA. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Thanks very much. After trying it, I assume the 11 version isn't compatible with FIFA 12 as it doesn't recognize my big files, correct?

Okay, I appreciate the advice. Not sure what you mean, but I guess I can poke around and see if I can figure it out. Thanks again.

Hey,

I'm having some problems...I extract the DB using texture editor, click on active file into .big or whatever it is, then edit and save the DB file using DB editor but when I go to my game there is absolutely no changes? Any idea why? The file is in the right folder, but it just doesn't seem to change - help please!

How did you even get that far? I extracted the files using the texture editor. Then when I go to load up the extracted files in the db editor, it doesn't see or recognize the files I just extracted.

Question to anyone who has used the db editor: I'm only interested in making a few quick GLOBAL EDITS to the default player roster. Example: I want to lower all players' Agility ratings by 50%. I can do this in PES in 30 seconds using one of the available roster editors. Does the FIFA db editor allow one to do that? If not, I'm really not interested in tearing my hair out trying to get this to work.

it should be in folder now game/db/... you should add your db to there I mean ;)

This just seems to cause the game to crash now...do you mean the db files should be in [game folder]/game/db rather than [game folder]/game/data/db?

you guys have go to learn to read around the forums.

if you extract the dbs from texture editor it will extract them decompressed but it doesnt delete the files from the bigs.

no matter how many times you try to regen the dbs will always be read from the big files.

the db files must be removed from the big files, i suggest using finalbig 4 until fm12 is released.

BIG File Edit

Hi there,

I have managed to do the following:

Used FIFA 12 Texture Editor to successfully extract the fifa_ng_db.db and fifa_ng_db-meta.xml and placed them in C:\Program Files (x86)\FIFA 12\Game\data\db

Made a simple change to 1 players pace stat using DbMaster11

I understand that I need to now move the files into the BIG file in order for FIFA to register the changes. I have downloaded "finalbig040b" (and a couple of other editors) and attempted to delete the original fifa_ng_db.db and fifa_ng_db-meta.xml and then import the files I edited with DBMaster11 (in \Game\data\db). The files are deleted and the new files add (in the correct location, data/db/ etc exactly as they were before) but FIFA will not load. As soon as I go back to my original DATA0.big it loads no problem.

I tried to attach the log file from FIFA of the crash but it's too large.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

no you wont because 1 you asked in a thread related to what you wanted know, which means you searched first & 2 you had enough commonsense to not open a thread.

you need to make sure you didnt delete anything else besides the db & xml from data0.big & locale.big.
then regenerate you bh files.
