When you guys talk about 'slowdown' do you mean....

A) The actual gameplay is slow when controlling players
B) Slow motion in the cinematics i.e. players receiving cards, players getting injured.

Cos i only get it in 'B', and thats occasionally....

Don't know about anyone else , but I get slow down in game and I've found the reason. Seems according to a Tech Site I got a virus that affect the svchost.exe ( I ran all my Norton2004 virus checks and D/ld "fixit" and one from Mcafee ) all said I was clean? But it may have well done the damage anyway?

svchost.exe hogs between 50 to 75% of my procrssor and I get slow down. I just turn off the exe in (Windows Task Manager) and that does the trick. But it come back every time I reboot and have to go to WTM to turn it off..

Solution -- seems to be "Format" Hard Drive and re-install WIN XP can be bothered doing that just now so I'll live with having to turn it off in WTM.

Anyone who gets slowdown should check there WTM just in case.

the file that seems to do it to me is .. svchost.exe Location Service , there are other svchost.exe's in WTM but you'll see the one using CPU power anyway.
