I am 35 and I was wondering if I am one of the oldest FIFA players.

I play this game since the first. I think it was called FIFA soccer, 1994/1995.

Once a week I play this game with my friend, he is one year older; yes at least I am not the oldest

It pisses me off to know I`m turning 21 next month, bye-bye youth, bye-bye crazy days, I will have to act more mature, more responsible. But what the hell ???? Well I'm nearly 41 and have been playing games and Fifa since the NES and Mega Drive, own most consoles and obviously a PC. This is the best Fifa so far but still has some way to go. The problems lies with designing a game for all platforms, your limited by the weakest having said that I will dare to mention PES series or the carrier mode in this is football 3. Mix all of them together and I would be in heaven.

I am 41 and not only do I play FIFA and all the other footy games since 1984 I also wrote and produced 5 web sites for fifa since 1997.

Last year's site was www.fifaplayer.co.uk the award winning fifa gamers site for UK fifa players. In 2001 I also ran what Matt Holme described as the most successful on-line league ever!

I had to close the site down earlier this year due to other committments. I may be back later this year though as I am planning another on-line champions league, I have to write the web management system first though, so it may be a little while yet.

I am glad to see that it is not just the under 25's that invest and play games like FIFA and PES etc and I am certainly not the oldest one who does either

I have been commissioned to produced a FIFA2003 for www.fifa-champions.com which I plan to complete and release later this week, so maybe some of you would like to have a little read of that.
