Yep, same here, knocked home from close to the half way line, pity we cant save the replays and compare them, i have also hit a ground hugging free kick home from around the same distance .. Ned

I once did a delightful chip from just inside my own half with David Beckham.The keeper was on the penalty spot and I chipped him, it was so cool! :)

Hey what is the shooting system like, is it good? Are the keepers relaistic?

Yep, the shooting system is ok, and it all depends on the pressure that you apply to the shoot button and the range from where you take a ping from, you can score some sizzlers from wide tight angles too, the goalies are the best i have seen in any pc game to date, very easy to beat in the easy mode, but in the two higher configs they are a lot harder to beat, they seem to stop just about everything that you fire at them. altho' the goalies in Premier all Stars 2001 are ok too, but not as hard to beat as the ones in this game,
but like in all football games they arn't perfect, they make the odd stupid mistake, i just hope that the eagerly awaited patch can tighten up a few niggles in there .. Ned
