What sorta money u got? The ati radeons seem to be better than nvidia's geforces, but ea games tend to run better on nvidia cards. But Radeons tend to be better overall. And the 5200 aint too good imo

Try and find somewhere that sells 'Tyan' graphics cards, they use the radeon chips and are great and cheap! I got their Radeon 9600 pro for £100 here in the uk!

Well i just got the fx and omg fifa runs perfect on 1024 high graphics a soo cool but i overclocked it and has a good fan runs like a fx 5600 ultra

I play with a FX 5600 and it runs very smooth. Even with 1024x768 with High resolution.

I do suggest you make sure it has a good cooling. It starts having hick-ups after a couple hours of intensive play

i have a ati radeon just like that one but not SE and the game runs beter than on a ge force, even with 2gk kits and 1200*..resolution :o so go with ati, they are better ;)

It's a known fact that ATI Chipsets are better performing then the nVidia.

Sometimes Game Producers create the game around certain carachterists of the Video Card, so it will run better on one Chipset then the other.

Fifa 2003 was created in collaboration with nVidia. But I'm not sure if Fifa 2004 was also or not.

I got a FX5200, the game runs as smooth as a mouse on a tredmill, pure class, must say it is 512 DDR Ram, I don't know if this would effect the performance.

It will right well. But I suggest to trade the 9600 with 256Mb with a 9600 XT w 128Mb.

You will never use all the 256Mb and the Memory they use for these cards is Extremly cheap and run slower. The XT is a better card and trust me 128Mb is enough

Thanks for the tip mate but i only have like a budget of 100 quid and this is what the 9600 256mb is including VAT and delivery from overclockers.com unless i can get that card for 100 quid i can't do that..but anyhings better than my current 32mb nvidia TNT:(..another quick question with a better card will fifa have the 'proper' 3d graphics, like on xbox and ps2 and not the 'software renderer' type graphics on poor pcs? Thanks :)

you will get MUCH BETTER graphics.
Fifa does not allow for much Graphic fine-tuning but I believe there are some patches out there that will allow you to do that.
