hi guys,i bought me a new PC
AMD Athlon 64 X2 processors 5000+
Ati 1950 (256mb)
2 gb ram.

and i tried fifa08,on my old PC it looked awfull.
so i run it on high setting @ 1280*1024*32
i also found cfg_pc_h on this site wich is good,but my game runs really bad, too much slowdowns.why is it? games like Pro Evo 2008,CoD4 or even Crysis are running great and looks beautifull,Is there any solution or patch for Fifa?

Guess no one has that problem or none of us would be playing it. Configure your computer properlly and you won't have issues. Stating you have high specs doesn't mean a thing if you don't have it configured as you should.

you know what Saq, although it sounds quite fantastic, I have almost the same computer as you do, almost the same video card,almost the same processor,and the same RAM, and I too am experiencing slowdowns, but it happens only in HIGH detail so I play in 1280x1024 MEDIUM, in these preferences it works perfect.

I'm playing Fifa 08 at 1680x1050 with everything on high detail on a much slower computer and don't have any slowdows during the game. Mind you that i also updated most of the graphics with 2G graphics.

AMD Atlhon 2800XP
1GB RAM
Nvidea 7800GS 512MB
Win XP Pro

Runs smooth as silk. Maybe it's your video card. ATI hasn't produced a decent video card in a long time now.

And I can't really run Crysis or CoD4 on my machine for obvious reason but no issues whatsoever in Fifa.

Strange is you ask me.
