Ok First off I'll take Winning Eleven over Fifa any day off the week and from what I'm seeing from the clips people are posting on youtube that's not going to change this year either. But that's not what this post is all about.
But what the hell is going on with EA Sports in general? I used to buy evey EA game that came out for Fifa, NHL, Baseball, Madden, F1, and Nascar. Now the only one I buy is Nascar and maybe Madden.
Fifa:
Sucks ass ever since RTWC 2002. Thank God WE came out. I will gladly take the time to edit what ever I choose to as long as when I'm playing it's a game where I can't score a goal the same 5 or 6 ways again and again and ofcourse....... again!
NHL:
Was to arcadey last year (who the hell skates down the ice and does 4 spin a ramma moves?) and is to slow this year. I bought 2K7 which I thought was a better game anyway and it cost $30 less. Go figure.
Baseball:
I know they lost the license so they went with the college game this year but even when they had it the game was getting to arcadey. MLB 2006 the show is by far the best baseball game I ever played.
Madden:
Solid title and it most be their big money maker. Why can't all games be this good?
F1:
Was alays a great game, but then they decide not to sell it in North America for any console. Thanks!
Nascar:
Suprisingly good but only becasue their is no competition that takes the game as serious.
Is it just me or has anyone else really noticed how bad not only Fifa has been the last 3 to 5 years but EA Sports in general.
I used to be pissed at EA for not making Fifa as good as any of the other games, but now, instead of making Fifa better they dropped their other titles to the same level as Fifa. WTF?
