I've done a Poll like this before with PES 4 asking what style everyone plays like

and here it is again!

What style does everyone play like? Me personally i model my play under arsenal Technique Speed and Totally pray to god u score more than your opponents! That'd be pretty close to the Brazilians.

mind you i've been playing the japanese version since the summer so i have more time to adapt than most of you all.

Im playing all those styles... :ewan:

I always play according to players I have...dont have some default tactic that I stick to...

liked doing quick one touch passes in PES 3 & 4 but with PES5 those days are clearly gone

kind of like english but I don't know, it's my style lol :ewan:
and yeah, it depends on what players you have.

Brazilians are very quick players , France has very strong and resistant players but slower. Argentina has very weak defence...but THE SKILL OF THE PLAYER who controls them counts more.

I try to play a well balanced short passing game, maybe a bit like AC Milan. I'm weak for a good defense

i think i mostly play english style.
that means a lot of attacking football.

i play a 4-3-3 formation with 1 LWB, 2 AMF, 2 strikers and one right winger.
with this i can defend well play on the counter and attack very well.

edit:
something like this

ewww hate those type of play... defensive boring soccer.

ya... the onetwo's are not what they use to be before, but still useful in trying to drag a defender out of place.

infact am i the only one that found the passing easier in this version? i don't do the through passes as much but the direct pass is much more powerful now. that and also the lobbed pass where you press L1+triangle (through pass button) when you're sending someone down the wing.

side steps are harder now, but mind you i use to have sol campbell dummying people like ronaldinho and step overs like Ronaldo in PES4...

also post players are much more useful. direct pass them the ball and they'll turn and shoot.

i find myself playing a lot more english recently though... getting some mid/long range passes down the wing for the cross & add in a touch of hardass tackling

Spanish way...trying to pass along the players, trying to find a hole to put the ball in. Anyway, I also like the Italian way, yesterday I won with Latvia 2-0 to France 6 stars...a pure italian exhibition...

oh and i usually do try to adapt any team i get my hands on to play the arsenal way. all out attacking force.

but occasionally just for kicks i experiement with other team styles like liverpool. and when i feel ugly, ManU's style of taking out as many shins and knees as possible

It isn't so ****** hard dude...you just have to find the styles that gives you more goals, or at least more football...lol

Counter attacking football really. I think its important to have a strong bank of 4, to protect your goal, nothing better than winning the ball in midfield and breaking so freaking fast and scoring a great team goal.
