HAHAHA!

EA, I hope you read this thread, cause I swear, people won't give a flying f*ck about FIFA soon, if ISS3 hits the market come March, FIFA is gonna have a hard time, cause us euro players' really don't give a SH*T about all this fandy dandy graphically sh*t, NOT if it doesn't have good gameplay, who wants a game that looks great, IF IT PLAYS LIKE CRAP! :kader:

I think the crowd in the 5th screenshot ( the free kick ) , have an
incredible realistic feel. I hope the gameplay lives up to all the ISS/PES hype, and now we can really judge what we like best.

In my opinion, even the ps2 version of iss is better than FIFA 2003. Fifa is good looking, but ISS is just realistic! ( with all the meaning of the word)

I do hope that you read the article to the end? They state there that the ISS2 screenie is only a test picture one at the moment.

Anyway, pity it's only for international teams (at the moment).....but editing by patchmakers to have club teams may be on the cards? This is good news for gamers as it now will mean competition between the producers to try and grab the fans! Wahey!!

^ exactly. If it is possible for patchmakers to add teams, EA will finally have some competition in the PC football game market.

That means EA should finally make a good game for FIFA 2004...look at Madden, it's good. EA has just been untested in the PC-soccer market, that means they'll FINALLY have to step it up a gear, or 3.

Good news all around for the fans.

The graphics is fairly good IMO, unlike EA who gives us excellent world class graphics but a very low quality gameplay, even with a worse quality CC. Anyway, when that game comes out I`m gonna grab it, and I will still having fun editing FIFA while after that playing ISS 3. I also assume Konami will release this game to see how PC gamers responds, if it`s good I`m sure that they will release the real deal ISS.

Your right, a good responce from the communitys could get Konami to consider bringing the franchise PES series to PC which i'd love to see. :)

Hercules, if you`re talking about editability, I think Konami`s ISS is editable. In Indonesia as I mentioned before, there`s a couple of guys who edited graphics and roster by cracking the PS2 version of the game. There are many versions of ISS here, like Serie-A, Bundesliga, ECL, etc, even the crappy Indonesian league. The teams are also using real kits with high details and real sponsors. I know that cracking a CD is illegal in some country, but the law for piracy is not very strict here, which makes us, soccer fans, feel very happy.

Editable doesn't only mean the possibility of editing stuff. It is also the ease of editing stuff.

Because at the end of the day, ANYTHING is possible, since you can always edit the .exe if you have the time to figure out everything.

But it will definitely take some time, maybe at least one or two years, before we can edit it just the same way we edit FIFA, since there will be completely new file formats, new ideas, new files, new structure, new everything. It took me a couple of months just to figure out most of the changes in FIFA 2003, so it will take a lot more time for a completely new game.

We will have to wait and see. It's a very exciting prospect for everybody involved in this community for sure....:)

Hey, If an Indonesian can do it, anybody can ;)

I don't care about teams, I don't care about graphics (well unless they are really bad...), I only care if the game is fun.

ISS2 IS fun, Fifa 2003 is NOT fun, so there's nothing to talk about really ;-).

I can't say that I won't be looking forward to ISS3, but right now, I'm quite impressed with FIFA2003. I am aware of the annoying problems and idiotic limitations, but the atmosphere in the game is really suberb, and with adequate gameplay FIFA2003 is quite enjoyable. I can score from outside the box and crossing&headers are not rare, and since editing access forms and Shlomy's superb flags came about, I'm hyped up about playing. FIFA is fun, when I play PES or ISS, I really concentrate on the playing, which is rewarding, but in the long run, not that fun.
When the game works well enough not to annoy, and gives some really superb moments (tricks and any nice goals and such) with one end of the crowd singing "two-nil, two-nil, two-nil" and the other "are you man united, man united, man united in disguise?" I could care less about worrying about the fact that the players don't have enough self-esteem to head on their own.

graphics are crap...I probably end up buyin this anyway out of curiosity...

But no club teams...will probably force me back to Fifa....and I will definately get Fifa2004...I think EA have only PES to fear.....
