Aye, you were born about ten years too late. :(

Some others:

Hole
System of a Down
Smashing Pumpkins
Supergrass
RHCP
Foo Fighters
Pearl Jam

And like emmer says, a ton of local bands in NZ, Oz and UK. But at the end of the day, the one I think I am most lucky to have seen is Nirvana, purely because they only came to NZ the once and it was just after Nevermind came out, so it was before they became really popular and the concert was at a small venue.

PS. I saw the Wiggles on the steps of Melbournes government house (H) does that count?

Damn straight. I'd trade in all the bands ive ever seen to have seen Nirvana live. You are one lucky individual.

Best part is, I saw most of the bands when it was relatively cheap to see them. I paid NZ$30 to see Nirvana, about US$14 at the time :p (H) .

No they were probly the worst out of the ones ive seen. Basement Jaxx were cool because they had just released "Wheres your head at" and so they saved that song for last.

Ive also seen Enrique Englesias at a concert, and that Lou Bega guy a couple of months after he was popular (both in Chile)

Was that in BDO 92? Wow that would have been good to go to. Nirvana are definatly one of the best bands ever in my opinion. I can listen to 90 % of their songs and like them.

Of course :p
I have kept the stubs from concerts I have particularly enjoyed, or bands I am a big fan of.

I also have the t-shirt from the concert as well. Not many going around with Auckland as one of the venues, after all (H) .

Nah, it was a separate concert. There were two support acts, The 3D's and Second Child, both from Dunedin, as the 'Dunedin Sound' was probably the closest we had to grunge (if thats what you want to call it) at the time. It was at a venue that only holds about 2000 max, cos it was before they got really big, which I guess would have meant a 20,000 seater or something. They played everything off Bleach and everything off Nevermind, there was stagediving and everything. I remember being there thinking 'this is one concert I will be telling people I was at in years to come'. Even more so when their popularity went ballistic.
