Just wondering which browsser is the most popular among SG members. I know some of you guys have switched to FireFox lately but I am still sticking with IE, simply b/c I am very much used to it.

So what's your choice.

I've tried:- Firefox; Mozilla 1.7; and the latest official build of Opera. I've gone back to IE 6, and realise that the world is full of hype-loving fanboys! I can't be bothered with all of that plug-in nonsense. IE 6 is the best in my opinion (for the PC). Some people just have to be 'different' (the irony!) just for the sake of it...

I also tried Firefox a few days ago after someone(a Dortmund fan in SG, dont remember who) paid Firefox the ultimate priase "try it and you will never look back". After playing with the browser for a few minutes I found nothing special about Firefox so I uninstalled it right away.(H)

Btw IE combined with the MSN toolbar just works great, it blocks most of the pop-ups for me.:rockman:

I've got IE at home and FireFox at work...

THe whole plug in business is annoying, and and don't really fancy the download system on FF. A part from that its a great browser. But i won't be switching to it at home :(

Firefox for me, good pop-up control etc. Also it's regularly cranking out downloads at 100k/s compared to 70-80k/s using DAP 7.2 so I'm sticking with it ;)

Opera and IE. IE gets a lot of spyware but i'm kinda used to it. Depends on my mood really, Opera is pretty nice aswell.

MyIE2.

Tabbed surfing, IE style. built-in pop-up stopping!
Tons of plug-ins: save flash files, force right click, etc.

Free, good stuff.

Netscape :rockman: Basically because i can open sites with tabs, instead of having multiple windows at the bottom. And, i find it faster.
