Im Man City in my career in febuary, sitting 3rd in the league only a point or two off the top, no matter who i beat and what the score is, my job security level goes down rapidly, and i end up being sacked, what can i do :taz: :hit:

I bet you bought players?

And you budget is negative or close to it?

If you're outside the transfer window there is nothing you can do. You have to start again and not blow your money.

Fair enough Lior -

My problem is that, I start my career with Liverpool. I play 5 or 6 gameas inc EEC qualifier (which I win) 5 PL games including 2 derbys, conceding 1 goal only and I still get sacked.

My budget goes into negative figures very quickly, as with each away game, after Salaries etc my total is always a minus figure. (usually -2000 approx)

Home games, I always have match tickets set to high, and usually only make a profit of around 500-800. The away games (even if I win) just cancel any tourny bonuses very quickly.

I've tried renegotiating player contracts to bring the wages down, but only limited budget to begin with therefore can only save a couple of hundred credits.

Anyone got any suggestions? I mean, I'm winning games, getting further in tournaments but am getting done over by player wages! Should I play more reserve team to save cash until I run up a huge balance? Where's the fun in that?!

Wow, has Fifa 2006 become almost like a Managing game? Thats pretty sweet!

Hmm I wonder, why not try to sell some big name players and get cheap young talents to start with a huge surplus of cash? Try to win with the least amount of salary wages as you can.

I may need to get this game.

No it's not pretty sweet... they should focus more on the gameplay, than the intricate details of management, and they still get it wrong...

Well its pretty sweet if you can get it right, in other words implement both aspects of the game (managerial and action-play) and merge it to become one sweet game. I guess that hasnt happened. OH well. :(

that was what the whole Football Fusion was supposed to do, but that didnt work either. in all respect, you just cant merge a management game and FIFA together it doesnt work. it may not even work for PES. but the thing is, if EA dont nail down the gameplay, they may as well forget anything tactical, because at the moment FIFA cant really handle anything more than a set formation, and a team mentality.

Exactly, get the basics sorted out first.
