What I'd Like In FIFA 2004

I know there are other theads, and a wishlist, however I can't be bothered reading them so will post here what I like. Most of it doesn't involve the actual gameplay but some of it does. Anyway here goes

1. Training mode
2. Indoor mode
3. Classic mode
4. At least the entire top two divisions from each nation.
5. The return of the Dutch leagues, as well as full leagues for countries like Portugal, Turkey, etc
6. Loads of international teams, like Wales etc
7. At least a quarter of the teams from each league done in major detail, with proper stadiums etc
8. Loads of stadiums, such as national ones like Hampden, Cardiff Millenium etc
9. Goalkeepers to have short sleeved shirts, Barthes often has this. Alternatively, have them with their sleeves rolled up.
10. Proper tactics to choose from, who on earth uses that one with 6 at the back? Yet the more common 3-4-3 is not present. Editable ones, so you could set the front two like Man Utd have.
11. A proper editor where you can edit kits and the like, the creation centre is rubbish
12. Different balls for different leagues, that hasnt worked in this version.
13. Proper competitions, like the World Cup and European Championship, and UEFA Cup.
14. The ability to head at corners. I few people who can head at a corner either trying to score or trying to clear.
15. Heading and goalie charge to be different buttons, what eejit thought up the idea to make them the same?
16. General heading at any point, which isn't possible.
17. Proper kits for all teams, national sides like Scotland don't have proper kits.
18. Ability to change captaincy.
19. The fact you make transfers and team changes in competitions doesn't automatically change it in everything (like if you did a friendly).
20. Referee kits for each league
21. Adboards etc specific to a league
22. Proper fonts for squad numbers, such as the SPL ones or the Nike ones. Correct colours too.
23. Fourth official with extra minutes and subs cut scenes, plus the linesman signilling for a substitution
24. Others teams players actually get injured in a competition
25. Other teams make transfers, and can refuse yours
26. The phyiso attending to an injured player, then the injured player waiting to come back on
27. A proper commentary team, like Andy Gray and Martin Tyler, not one put together for FIFA.
28. The scoreboards and big screens in the ground reflect that game
29. Pre match entertainment, like mascots etc.
30. The tannoy reading out substitutions
31. Weather conditions, like snow, rain etc
32. Day or night, so the floodlights etc will be on
33. Whether to have the roof closed at some stadiums (Millenium stadium, Amsterdam Arena)
34. Marks where other sports have been played (like American football is played at Amsterdam Arena, probably not very feasible though!)
35. The computer to actually hit the target in one on one situations!
36. Brawls and the like, where you get sent off for hitting someone. You get fights in NHL 2003, why not here, maybe some sort of talking to the ref where you get booked for dissent?
37. Weather conditions change through a game, so you have to change to an orange ball or the game is even abandoned!
38. Ability for players to handle the ball.
39. Ability for goalkeepers to be sent off/booked
40. Ability for goalkeepers to run outside the penalty box with the ball, and be punished for it
41. Chance to control what you do when a cross comes over. Sometimes I want to chest it down then smack it, however the game automatically decides I want a tame volley, even just letting me choose the power would be good.

I'll probably keep updating this every 5 mins for the next week :D

Feel free to add your comments about what I want :)

Few more things to add :)

42. Subs warming up trackside, then seeing them take their tracksuit off when they are coming on
43. Goalkeepers wearing tracksuit bottoms

44. Proper goal celebrations, there were very few in FIFA and usually only the first goalscorer got a proper celebration (for example if Beckham scored the second goal of the game then it wouldn't show his celebration). Having the crowd effects or music for after the goals as well, like the Man Utd fans shouting "RUUUUUUUUD" or the Magnifcent 7 music for when L*rss*n scores for C*lt*c.

Cheers mate, will this list be passed to EA Sports or is it listed here where they will see it?

Other things I thought of (dunno if they are on the list).

45. The crowd filter out the stadium if their team is losing
46. The crowd to actually sit and watch the game rather than bouncing up and down, then they would jump up for a goal.
47. The referee to consult his linesman on things
48. The managers to get sent to the stand for arguing ;)
49. The goalie to sometimes wear a cap if its sunny.

Ive thought of a great idea for fifa 2004.

Players dont just get fatigue in football games but throught the season. For example if you use the same player for 10 games straight, then his performance will go down and he wont play as good.

So in order to have a player with high performance rest him once in a while. Maybe you could have a new stats bar which says performance which is out of 10. 1 been the lowest on performance and 10 been the highest.

Also the fitness stats bar may affect the performance bar. For example the higher the fitness bar is the less chance a player has of getting fatigue. So therefore if a player has a high fitness, he wont get fatigue quickly and his performance stats bar will stay up longer!
