I know that many people don't like David James. I rarely watch EPL games but for the very few I've watched, he looked really good. So I'll go for him.

A few years ago I really thought Wright would be Seaman's heir. More recently, I saw that position being occupied by Paul Robinson. But David James surely is the best English keeper ATM.

Also, Leeds' situation doesn't really help Robinson. So, my vote goes for James.

i ant Kirkland to be England no 1 but i'm afraid he doesn't have enough experince.David James is not bad at all and has experience but i don't understand why people dislike him.He's good,not very good but still good.

Robinson is probably the best future hope. James' move to Man City makes it a lot better for England though so there is that competition.

Carlo Cudicini, it's only a coupla months (i think) until he can be naturalised as english, then he can play for them.

as he's never represented italy @ full internation level, he is eligible to represent any country to which he can claim nationality. i think he's the man sven wants in goal, and me too...!
