What difficulty do you guys play at?

I bought the game two days ago, and I jumped straight into SemiPro... played about one hour on that, was about as good as the PC, then jumped onto Pro... and got f*cken owned!! LOL

After hours and hours of practice and humiliating defeats by the PC, I can now happily say I am competitive with Professional! w00t! hehehe

I wouldn't even dare try World Class at this point, not until I don't concede goals to WBA using Man Utd... LOL

So... any FIFA 2003 gurus beating World Class? Or do all you guys still need more practice?

Yeah, I'm kinda in the same situation.

I got straight into semipro, was winning 3-0 then eventually 7-0, jumped to Pro and played a few friendlies, got beaten and then just got the hang of it.

Gettin OK now. In my season with Man U newly on Pro I just beat Southampton 2-1 and edged out City 3-2.

My hint is to just stick with a 4-4-2, u get good balance in the team. Buy a really good dribbler. One player scores some of the most amazing goals ingame. Matteo Brighi of Parma, he has Giggs like dribbling and unbelievable finishing.

I won my first world cup with England last week on world class! Its really not easy! The key is defence!! Keep practising trying to keep a clean sheet. Dont worry about winning, when you move to professional, and eventually world class, just dont let them score, back off and make all your tackles. Try a 4-4-2 on defensive.

Once your holding them out, the goals will come. Take your chances and try to score all your free kicks!

once last tip!! PASSS!!!!!!! The computer will tear you to shreads if you dont pass the ball! You will get about one second on the ball when you get in the oposition half in world class!

Dont be scared to just hang on to the ball. Its better than them having it.

Anyone else find the keepers get better when you play the computers on world class? i havnt noticed it in the multiplayer.

I played about 5 games in amateur level switched to semi-pro ,
played about 10 games and then switched to pro ... all I hope is that I am not going to finish it too fast ...
Is there a way to make it even harder than international level ...to make it last longer ?

Just be crap teams. Try and win a world cup with a team like Scotland on World Class level!! It could be done, but you would never be able to do it every time!! Which makes it good. You hafto play your ass off to win!!!

Yea also thinking about it, if you modify the AI.ini you should keep your game alive even beyond international level ...

I'm playing World Class.

I'm 1-3-2. I'm always dominating the game, but I just can't score, wheras the computer will have two shots on goal, and have two goals. The funny thing is, in all six games, the computer scored two goals.

online game sux. well.... to be precise....most ´people there sux....they quit when losing.

btw... i always start at pro and end up with world class.

have been winning like 5:0, 6:1 at pro though i lose like 1game in 6.

my current season: 28games: 18win, 5draws, 5x got kicked by the CPU....position: 3rd.

I wish i could play some of you people online! Im probly the best fifa player there has ever been. I have had many challangers but no one i know can beat me. I need some real challange. But i only have a mere ps2.

Fifa 2001 was my real strong point though, there was so much to master in that game, so much beyond what the average player saw.

Theres not enough features in this game for the advanced player. I feel I am almost perfect.

Yes poeple think that. And they think they are good at 2001. But you can totally outplay them, with offside traps, quickly changing your formation with one button. I agree it was very easy to score. But it just makes it harder to defend. Anyone can score goals!!!

I always win with 4-0 , 5-0 on semi-pro but when I change to pro , i get owned it always start with the CPU scoring 2 goals and then i only manage to score 1 and loose everytime the same thing ! It's annoying.

I win 4-0 , 5-0 (TOO EASY), and always loose on pro damn! It's screwed up! Pro is 10 times harder !!

Playing online is not the way to master the game... why? Because humans are not predictable. They are always changing, regardless if you are 'perfect' *cough* bull**** *cough* at the game u can still have your ass handed to u in multiplayer because you can not predict what your opponent will do.

The key to winning in the game is understanding tactics. A lot of the time it is easier to intercept than tackle. Pass excessively than go flat out at the goal. Once you grasp the computers tactics the challenge begins to go away.

I play on World Class and whilst the game is getting progessively easier, I would love to play against human players for a real challenge but my ISPs set up means I get really **** pings :'(
