What can they do in pes4 to improve on pes3??

Im just wonderin if there is any little thing in pes3 that bugs you which you would like to see removed in pes4, or if there is stuff which you would like to see in pes4 which wasnt in pes3......im not talkin about big sweeping statements like 'improve the game play' or stupid things like 'more flags'.....

example.....the refereeing has got to be improved....no more unwarrented yellow and red cards and no more fouls given for perfectly timed slide challenges....i find those incredibly irritating.....

also the way players tend to always want to use their good foot to shoot, even if its impossibly awkward for them to do so...just let them use their bad foot for once....that will definitely improve the realness(if thats a word) of the game

i mentioned this in the fifa 05 forum (please dont kill me for being there) but i think a quick free kick option would be really cool....just to catch your opponent unawares....it would definitely make for an exciting addition to the near flawless game play.

one last thing comes to mind......more first touch options...that sounds very fifa i know but its not like they invented the term....
u should be able to achieva alot with your first touch but i dont think this aspect has been dealt with in any footy game period.
great players like zidane can do amazing things with just one touch and i think this sort of thing should be achievable in the game, at least with some of the top players......agree? disagree?

yeah I think refs are so annoying in pes3, mainly because they are so inconsistent.
I want more options on free kicks like lay off shots and players running over the ball before the kicker takes it.
In terms of Graphics I want the faces to be as realistic as Fifa's

I want a proper career mode with lots more teams like with fifa, or at least a 20 team league mode so we can play the premier league.

I think the biggest improvement would be to have Online matches, it would be great the play matches against players from other countries.

I want much better AI. That's mostly all I care for.

I heard about a new 6th star difficulty, but that means nothing unless it is really much harder than the current 5th star. You can tell AI sucks when you would make a certain pass in a heartbeat if you had the ball where the CPU does, but the CPU never makes the right pass.

Besides what's been said about better refs, i'd also like MY players to get unmarked on counter-attacks. To really sprint forward and get into good positions (if not to get passes, then at least to draw defenders onto them and away from me)

after the ball is going out for your team's throw in or corner...your own team shouldn't try to save the ball...and PLEASE add a power bar for penalties i hate those random misses....annoying as hell

I would like the OMF to not enter in the area in my centers and to not score goals heading instead of the striker... i like him to stay in the half moon of the area...

why i never can make him to do this? i edit my formation 1000 times but he never stay when i want.

other thing, we could be capable to edit the players that we want in the area in free kicks and corners, and to edit those plays...

1. maybe he's got a really hight attacking attribute
2. set the run to something else, eg: run left or right
i want a button to resist against the ref's decision, sometimes it's plain wrong, and i might win the foul, or get a yellow, and in that case, further resistance will result a red card, that would be just sweet for an angry player like me

But you do have bandages on injuries. I saw the coolest thing a couple of weeks ago. I crossed the ball into the area, and my striker tried to head it. So did their defender. A foul was called against my striker, and their defender was injured, and taken off the pitch having a bandage on his head

More Licences... better league modes. I get sick of having to play the Premier League with only 16 teams. Better commentary, but if it's still not up to scratch I'll turn it off. Better interface... Basically, if you mix the good of FIFA with the good of PES you'll have the perfect game.

There is already bandage for injuries. I've the leg bandages but still yet to see the head bandages. Players making runs can be done by assigning it in the formation settings.

AI has to be improved in transformation, especialy from attack to defense. I think this european cup has shown a new aspect of quick transformation, double covering and many other things.
Teams attack and defend in a strict formation and whole team participates in both directions. It's impossible to notice, as it is now in PES3, that the attacking players remain around the opponent's box after the ball has been lost. Many times offensive players, 2 forwards + the attacking middfielders just hang around the center not participating in any sort of defensive tasks.
I strongly beleive that this can be fixed. Attackers that are not controlled do not participate in attack all the way. Especially annoying is the pause in sprint after the double passing. Long balls are not effective in most of the cases so you have to concentrate on ground passing.

One thing I need to add about radar play. I think that radar is very useful but we simply don't use it. If you try to follow the radar you get to follow the chart while controlling the ball and concentrating on contact. It is like a completely seperate game. Soccer is not about reading charts and marking objects on charts. Much better thing would be a dynamic camera which would zoom out in certain situation, especially on breaks, as it is in real life.

Another very important aspect is that the speed and the strength of the star players and generaly players of the favourite teams is set far too high and is completely unreal. You simply can't have such difference in quality when you see all favourites out of the competition in the earliest phases.

All this mentioned is obviously concentrated on national squads, as PES3 is still very concentrated on nationals.

How about signs which would be taken up which show additional time according to the time lost during play due to injuries, goals, substitutions. Heavy injuries could last and irritate while on the other hand time shouldn't be stopped when the ball goes out and while we wait for the goalie to kick it off. Soccer isn't basketball. Time for custom replays should be stopped but the regular replay should take just about same time as to get the ball back from the stands!Time lost should be compensated accordingly but it should never go over 5 or maximum 6 minutes. This way you could definitely add in reality especialy when one is losing and trying to catch up while the opponents try to steel time by all means. All this should be restricted in seconds and regulated, but the time should definitely keep running.

One more thing, beside the general fall in strenght of players around 70th minute there should be a fall in conception of play, formation, all due to the fall in concentration at this specific time. This aspect shoul be consistency and could be added to all teams. You can clearly see how some teams can easily hold the pace and concentratim while other lose concept towards the end.

Repetition feature should be added to players as well. It is definitive that in todays football it's almost crucial that a certain player is capable of repeting certain, especially attacking runs and actions, and easily gets back to the formation aftae running off.

Many things could be added to the club aspects, but I'll leave it for later posts.

i like your idea about time added on a lot....i woluld definitely add to the tension at the end of the game

another thing....id like the player who starts a 1-2 to make longer runs than what they are doing at the moment...i can get very frustrating when they stop their run prematurely

as previously mentioned, the penalties need a complete make over....ive always wanted the option to dink a penalty in, like postiga did for portugal against england....they also need to create more tension throughout the penalties...more cinematics and stuff.....

finally(for now), they need to make the replays WAY longer than what they are at the moment......some goals need a full minute in order to be appreciated properly, not just the ten seconds or so that we get at the mo......im sure everybody concurrs with that
