First, I want to apologize for my poor english and my negative thougts, but that´s what i think about it. Don´t like to feed this people anymore.
what would be a "recommended hardware" to play PES6? and what would be a "recommended hardware" to play Fifa07?....with this kind of bugs
Code:
http://rapidshare.de/files/33748730/capture.avi
Why we need a dvd unit to play a game about 1.4gb which enters in 2 or 3 cd´s (just look WE9LEK, 3 cd´s)?......This programming genius are the people that make us change PC year after year.........I remember the days where they squeeze every inch of power of CPU´s and video cards......but now they have to deliver game with bugs and even SO with bugs, to sell patches under the name of new products (windows 98 and 98SE anyone? PES4, WE8, PES5, WE9 anyone?)
That´s the main reason (besides the price that they want us pay for uncomplete software) that makes the piratery a way of live for too much people.
Now Intel and AMD are doing the same....they want us to believe that a 2 cores inside a CPU will change our life, but you have to realize that the price of a core2duo proccessor is the same as 3 one core cpu, and what happend when this super core2duo proccessor dies??? Sorry, but i still prefers to have 2 different machines, with 2 differents motherboards, memory and hdd´s to REALLY do multitasking......
The same thing happens with Windows XP and Vista and 64bits experience...........64bits proccessors are 3 years old now, and how many applications make use of that?...if i can do maths well, a 64 bits proccessor it´s in theory twice times fast than a 32bits one, but in "real world" (microsoft and intel and amd world) it´s 15-25% faster........and does anyone read about the new Vista? It´s performance in games it´s going to be not so great as planned. We´ll see.
In a year from now, we´ll be playing PES7 and Fifa08 with brand new Quad2Duo, with 4gb of DDR2-1000, an ATi R600 or Nvidia G81 with 1024mb, 1 Terabyte Serial ATA 3 hdd with bluetooth´s gamepads and DX10 Windows Vista+Service Pack 1 and still we´ll be asking why the AI stills give us control of the defenders that are behind the player with the ball, not the defender that is between the CF and the GK, hehe.
Open fire , but please, be gentle :dragan:

hehehe..tahts y i see that modding games is the answer to software updates..

and over clocking is the answer to hardware stuff...

look for hardware..u dont need to be fool and rush...u will only need core due in 2 to 3 yrs maybe...then bye it then.....no need to rush..

You have problems with changing stuff and technology.
And you have the choise. You don't need a superb cpu and graphic card for pes6. Other games need more power. The user are crying that they want more realstic graphics, more effects and better sound. So you will need better hardware. For me it's better to have a dvd player instead of 3 cd's.

life is changing, also the technology and that's good. look abaout the games and hardware in the last 20 years and compare them with that what we have now. You dont' need a new graphic card every year, that's just a hype.

Alright, let me explain this circle to you:

1. Consumers have game, they play it, enjoy it.
2. A few weeks later consumers go, "Hey, it'd be nice if we had this or that in this game."
3. Game makers go, well, the current technology doesn't support this.
4. The hardware makers then say, alright, we'll develop something that can do this and that.
5. The game makers make a new game with this and that.
6. Consumers get it and play it, hooray.
7. Weeks later, consumers go, wouldn't it be nice if..."

And it starts over again. It's been going on since the beginning of time, and it will always do so.

Even the cavemen went, "Wouldn't it be nice if we had a better weapon than this club?"

Thanks for the explanation Coupon...i loved it.......but you didn´t download the video which shows a "little bug" in Fifa07? Or never had troubles with AI in PES5 when you are entering the box with your CF and a team mate is alone and you press the pass button and the game decides that´s it´s a better option to pass the ball to the one marked by four enemy players? or you are with your player running near the side line (the upper line), in the midfield area, and want to cross the ball to a player that is alone in the oposite side and press de CIRCLE and your player stops, and throws the ball out even when you press down in your pad? this kind of bugs are not hardware related...are programming issues and are present since PES3....but talking again Fifa07...don´t think the graphics are sooooo good and the game is soooo advanced in programming that requires to change my PC year after year...

I don´t want to disagree with mr_iraqii either, but wouldn´t be better that EA and Konami do a better programming? i don´t want to overclock my cpu and video card because both games are PS2 ports.....after all, this games are not exactly cheap....dont want to spend a lot of dollars to start learning how to mod them...

Anyway, thank you for your replys :D

Yes, it would be great if we all had great programming in our games, of course. Unfortunately, that kind of rationalization leads us to another impossibe question: What constitutes better programming? Some people want a more arcade feel to make players accountable to user control, some people want more realism so even though the user does the right thing, a randomization process decides it would be statistically realistic if the player missed the ball.

So how do we solve this problem? Usually with our wallets. People won't buy a game if it is crappy for the most part. While FIFA may be the most popular game in the US, I don't hear a lot of my friends busting in lines to get the latest copy because a) it's not as popular as other sports here and to some extent b) even then it's not the best of games. So, you do what I do and buy PES and support that. If Konami did a decent job of marketing (which although Konami makes pretty good products, their PR in the Western world is pretty crappy) there would be competition that would force better programming like you suggest.

We have an isolated situation though, in that EA dominates the US and Konami's PES dominates Europe. If these two were to go head to head, we would see changes like you say. Unfortunately, EA practices many anti-competitive actions which wouldn't help things.

So in summary yes it would be nice. So you do what we do. Suggest new changes to Konami and if you don't like it move to another product. Voice opinions directly in forums, write letters, and use your wallet to your advantage. Changes do happen like this. Look at Battlefield: Vietnam to see what happens when a game company releases a poor game.
