adebayor deal fell through at last minute because monaco decided they didnt want to sell him anymore :boohoo: which pissed me off

Still, getting a big teams young striker on loan would be pretty effective I'd think. Carlton Cole anyone?

You know how dodgy that bloke is? I don't want a bar of it, he'll cut and run after a few years, then we'll be ****ed. Unless I see a long term plan for if and when he withdraws all his lovely lolly, I'll be staunchly anti-takeover.

That said, he takes over and we win a trophy or two, I'd cheer.
