WEATHER in career mode

Hey guys!

Annoyingly the weather in career mode can't be choosed before starting a match in career mode.
I absolutely hate it to play sunny matches at 5.30 - 9.30 p.m. in the middle of winter or playing CL/EL matches in sunny condition instead of having those at night.

So is it possible to change weather in career mode via some db editor or something like that to avoid this "feature" brought back by EA?

I opened data7.big in file master but i can't find weather.txt.

Search function shows me two weather.txt files both are located in data1.big though. When i open it it just shows me a bunch of numbers.

EDIT - scratch my previous post. Rinaldo explains it all here:

http://fifa-master.com/

The file weather.txt contains information about the weather condition in the different months for the countries.
Each entry contains 8 fields
The unique id of the country object (see compobjs.txt)
The month
The probability of having a dry day
The probability of having rain
The probability of having snow
An unknown value – maybe the probability to have a overcast day
The sunset time
The dark night time

To determine the country just look up the numbers in compobj.txt. For example England is :

243,2,ENGL,NationName_14,4

So in the weather file these lines apply to England:

243,1,40,45,15,65,1600,1800
243,2,50,40,10,50,1630,1830
243,3,40,55,5,35,1700,1900
243,4,60,40,0,20,1930,2130
243,5,70,30,0,15,2000,2200
243,6,85,15,0,5,2000,2200
243,7,90,10,0,5,2000,2200
243,8,90,10,0,5,2000,2200
243,9,75,25,0,15,1930,2130
243,10,50,50,0,35,1900,2100
243,11,45,50,5,55,1730,1930
243,12,40,45,15,65,1630,1830

This makes sense!
My settings are not applied though even when I save and regenerate - all changes are being reset...
Is it even possible to save changes made in file master 12?

what is the rna.ini for?
point is that file master just doesn't save any alteration in the txt files.

anybody has an idea why? is there another tool enabling .big file editing?

I suggest you use the i68Regenerator. This program uses a different approach. You create the directory tree structure inside Fifa\Game\ directory, then when you run the Regenerator it searches the tree structure for matching files in the data.big file's and tells the game to use the files from your tree instead. This is so much easier than editing the .big files themselves.

SO, lets say you wanted to change the database.
You create directory tree Fifa\Game\data\db then you put your edited fifa_ng_db.db in this directory. You run the regenerator from the Game directory and it tells FIFA to use your edited databases.

I hope this helps

export the file, edit it, put it in the game folder & regenerate.

no while importing weather.txt after i exported and edited it

You don't need to re-import it. Just export it, edit and then run the regenerator. Regenerator tells the game to look for the edited files instead of the original .big files.

Ok. which folder the file is needed to be exported in?

Ok, you are a noob. Fifa works with all files in BIG archives. But if you extract a file from Big1 for example, let's say this file wheater.txt, the file master exports not only that file, but the entire tree of folders where the original file wheater.txt was. In my case FM12 created me a bunch of folders just for that file:
wherever you want\dlc\dlc_footballcompeng\dlc\footballcompeng\data\compdata\wheater.txt
After editing the txt file you DON'T IMPORT THE FILE BACK IN BIG! You simply trick the game, by putting the entire dlc folder in fifa 12/game directory. If you have allready this dlc folder YOU COMBINE THE TWO OF THEM. Just be sure that your wheater.txt is in
FIFA 12\game\dlc\dlc_footballcompeng\dlc\footballcompeng\data\compdata\wheater.txt location.
THEN, only then you use i68. Applyes for other files.

Got it?

Got it superboy
the changes have no affect though it seems to me that the weather is planned in advanced by the game

In weather.txt I altered the line from:
243,12,40,45,15,65,1630,1830

to:
243,12,100,00,00,00,2230,2300

which would lead to a sunny match in the middle of december if the tweak would work but it doesn't unfortunately

I am always getting the same conditions on the same match on the same date in the season...
