WE9 only for PS2 and japan market (august 05)
WE9 j-league only for PS2 and japan market (november 05)

Pro Evolution Soccer 5 for europe market, PC X-box and PS2 version (october 05)

WE9 (old International ) is the PES5 for the american market better optimized in gameplay and A.I. (This for PC version, i don't know if for consoles version are differences with PES5) The date of release is the FIRST QUARTER of 2006...

It is'nt properly correct... :rolleyes:

If you are a lover and epicure of the series, you can see the differences, but if you are not an epicuter probably for you they are the same game...

WE9 japan is the old one, so in 6-7 months Konami always bring better gameplay and optimization since the released of american's WE9 (ex-international)...

no the squads are not updated for we9:i... makes you wonder wtf takes konami america to release a game that is basically identical to pes5 months later

there is nothing drastically different with we9, pes5 and we9:i... just minor tweaks to the gameplay... i would say this year most noticeably the speed and frequency of the refs calling fouls. from we9 to pes5... you can tell the speed of both games are a bit different, and the refs seem a bit more lenient when it comes to calling fouls for pes5... we9:i and pes5 seem the exact same to me... which isn't a bad thing
