We9 Pc = Pes5 Pc

Well after playing the demo and now the full version, i was right. WE9 is the same god damn game as PES5. Menus and all. it's the same gameplay and same lame commentators.

i doubt your full version of we9 pc will be the definitive for american market, but a cracked version with a NODVD EXE taken from PES5 exe no dvd...

If you analyze the no dvd we9.exe (WE9 pc is out only in asian) with hex editor you can see the same featureus of PES5 nodvd by reloaded, while if you analyze the original we9.EXE (that you can only use with original DVD inserted) you will see a very different exe...

ask to Juce66 for it...

I think that the version for pc that is out is only the WE9 for asian version with a cracked PES5 exe, so you couldnt see any differences because you play at PES5 pc...

PS: The original WE9 pc and american marked will be realesed only in APRIL 06

nope. it's we9 pc version. just downloaded it. and yes before you bash...i do download my games before getting screwed from buying them.

Well, they're supposed to be the same game anway, just under different branding in different continents(PES in Europe, WE in Asia and America). So cosmetically they shld be the same, just the logo PES and WE will be different. And maybe some subtle patches/updates to it. :)

I had a play of this on the PC yesterday and the players do feel different, more "floaty" than on PES. Is this just my imagination???

If you have PES5, there's no point. It really is identical 99% of the time, but to me, the players feel different.

Feels different to me also. Seems to be easier to dribble with players than before in midfield. Whether that's down to the controls seeming more responsive or not I don't know. Other than that I haven't noticed any difference.

absolutely no difference, i was expecting that the game would be optimized in some way for the pc ( visible crowd, better colisions etc) but it's exactly the same thing. Wouldn't waste my money on this one.

the exe no dvd is a PES5 exe modified with the icon of WE9.exe, and it allow you to connect to european server and play vs PES5 gamers!!! also the file option that it install is named as the fileoption of PES5, while the originale WE9.exe is programmed to name file option as:

KONAMI-WIN32WE9OPT and not as KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT

Did you try fixed exe on GCW?
I think tonight i'll try it with the demo to see if the "gameplay" is the same of demo exe. (assuming that it will work fine with demo)

If this is true (I myself have not checked) then WE9 PC Asian is actually PES5 PC with a modified .exe

Where is the download for the WE9 demo? The only links I see are downloads listed as WE9 but the actual file itself is the PES5.exe demo.

But does this mean, that people who download the game can play online? What about the serial key for online play? Don't they need that?

They can play online only if they have the original code of PES5 in their PES5 game...
It's for this motive i tell that the version no dvd that you can download illegaly is an exe of PES5 modified for asian version of we9 and not the WE9 pc for american market that will be realese at april 06....

Can't say ive noticed any difference between WE9 and PES5 to be honest. Although I have noticed that you can play PES5 players if you have WE9 and vice versa, which is a good idea as it saves everyone having to have the exact versions of the game.

If you have the PES5 cd key and use it on WE9 PC Asia, you can play the PES5 servers.
But the WE9 PC asia has got their own cd keys and their own server. There's an asian english server over there. You can only play there if you have the WE9 PC asia cd key. So players with WE9 PC asia but they didn't buy PES5 PC, they won't be able to play ont eh PES5 servers since they don't have the cd key. :jambo:

this is the motive that i told that the Asian WE9 pc, downloaded illegaly from the WEB is with PES5 exe modified for afs file of WE9 asian version, because the exe nod dvd of this version is the same as pes5.exe and with a cd key of original PES5 game it connect you to europeans servers of PES5!!!
So if people can't use the original exe they cant see any differences between this illegal we9 PC version and the PES5 game....

PS: the graphic engine of the game is in the WE9.exe...
