WE8 to PES5 option file convert?

Anyone know of anyway to do this?

I've tried Pesfan editor and Editpes4optionfile - both won't load the WE8 option file.

Reason being, MLS is just underway and I wanted to get started and creating a patch for the 2006 season. Someone made a patch like this for WE8, but since then has become a FIFA convert - so he won't continue the patch. I want to use his OF as a base, if not I'll have to work from scratch

I was intending to make it so my latest editor (PESOFEditor) would be able to read option files from all versions of PES and transfer data between them. However, I can't promise anything about it as I've spent so little time working on it lately, even though I want to give it a go again soon.

I sure hope you find the time to update your editor. The rerated option file that Sepakbola created has been the only reason I continued to play PES5. But unfortunately there is no editor out there that can adjust the ratings for newcommers, like your editor was able to do for WE8I.

that's understandable. This is the first time in a couple of weeks since I've posted on SG - PES5 was starting to upset me. But by taking the break, and the start of the MLS, I've been inspired to play again.

I think I'll just start from scratch, doing 5 teams a day, KS - if you do decide to continue your progress with the editor please let me know, thanks again. and take care.

Yes that's great but unfortunately the newcommers in a ML do not have the adjusted ratings. Unless someone puts out an editor that can do this, the gameplay goes back towards default when more and more of these newcommers appear.

I heard that the gameplay for WE9(pc) has been tweaked a bit for the better. I should be getting it today and hopefully the gameplay won't require a major overhaul (fingers crossed).
