I came out yesterday for both PS2 and X-box. The rosters were the same as the one from PES4. Which means Rooney is at Everton, Woodgate is at NewCastle. You have some editing to do.

It's not that bad. I just bought a max drive for $20. I just need to find and updated option file now.

Nuno,

Where did you buy the max drive? I'm new to this option file world but have figured out that you need a max drive, however, searching on the internet for one I ran across the following text: "PAL: Will play on UK and European XBOX only"

Can I find the max drive for the U.S. and if not, is there an equivalent form of transfering the option files to the xbox?

Thanks for the help.

Well I played 3 games and already noticed some differences.

You dont stumble when a bit of wind hits your player.

You can now outrun those 36 year old defenders with Henry etc.

The animations looked better and the gameplay felt alot better.

Well, its wierd..

I played it on the PS2 and sometimes you can outrun defenders etc, I cant on the PS2..

I dont stumble as much, I seem to win alot more headers and my passes are alot better.

But thats about it, I wouldnt get WE8:I tbh, it aint got hardcore changes, but for me it just feels better..

i played PES4 for a long time.
Then when WE:8 came out for xbox i picked up a copy for some friends at work (we all split the cost so it cost next to nothing).
At first, I noticed only minor improvements to the control and gameplay.
But after about a dozen or so games it started feeling more and more different.
I went out and got a hold of the PC version of WE:8 thinking the differences were maybe xbox only.
Let me put it this way... I haven't touched PES4 since getting WE:8. =)
I was scoring 4-5 goals a game on 5 stars in PES4. In WE:8 on 5 stars i've scored 2 goals in my last 3 games. Something is different for sure.

I don't know if it's worth upgrading for everyone. The differences aren't THAT major. If you have the money, go for it. But honestly, it's pretty much the exact same game.
