WE7:I (US) Sales Figures Anyone?

Anybody have access to sales stats in the U.S. for WE7 during the month since release?

Konami usually guards the sales figures until their conferences with stock holders/investors, which could be a while so don't hold your breath. They will come out though I bet.

I just bought WE 7(US) copy this week, hopefully that helps them, afterall I want them to make as much as they can here and if I dont support them, who will???

Rough sales figures are available to be had with Konami's blessing or not, although it seems the research companies (such as NPD) have a monopoly on such figures -- for a few thousand bucks, anyone can buy their research/data.

It's strange how difficult it is to get new console games sales figures, as opposed to new CD (or even DVD sales), which are broadly reported in the music press, for example, when a new release hits the market.

In any event, a good percentage of sales will occur shortly after a title's release. We'd already have a good idea of how WE7:US will fare by looking at month 1's stats.
