WE7:I Graphic Problem

Just installed WE7:I with Wolf's new 3.0 patch and it has improved my graphic problems a lot but I still get a horizontal line now and then across the middle of the screen that kind of warps the display and gives it a little slow down across the line when the rest of the game still stays at a good speed.

This problem also happened on PES3 if I installed any of the patches so I just run the unpatched PES.

Has anyone else come across this problem and if so what is the best course of action??

Cheers

(P.S. PC spec shouldn't b a problem as I have a newly built very high end PC)

The screen tear thing is enabled by turning v-sync either on or off depending what setting you have it on at the moment. If it is set to application controlled try enabling it and if that doesn't work try disabling it.

I had the same problem when I first bought the game.

Thanks for the help wolf, it decreased the tearing a little bit however it is still there and a blemish on what is almost a perfect game. I changed the v-sync settings in "contol panel -> display -> advanced" is there anywhere else I can change it?

Also is it a possibility it is the v-sync and a combination of another setting that is causing the problem?

Thanks again

The Vsnyc when turned on limits the frame per second to your refresh rate. So to stop tearing click to on.

Also i noticed with this game that it needs to be on 60mhz(not higher) refresh rate(do this through your monitor setting). When this is on it flys by and dosen't jerk. Also consider during the AF and AA options to application controlled. That stops slowing down and jerky stuff.

Hope that helps

The v-sync on doesn't stop the tearing (strangely it gets worse the longer I play the game and the more often the ball is in the middle of the field) my flatmate running the same copy of WE7 gets this problem also.
Is there something that could be changing my v-sync setting when I run WE7 becuase it is only set to on as default and possibly the game turns it off again.
Im running nVidia Forceware drivers if this helps. Are the detonator drivers perhaps better?
