YOu can play on the goal keeper and actually make saves.. can you?

What does this mean.. someone please explain.. I been wondering ever since I had this game. lol

What do you want to know? You already answered yourself lol
In manual you can select the keeper by changing your player with L1 like you normally do with the rest. You should the info inside the game to clear things out, most of the stuff is already explained :)

if that is true... I will be so pissed! I never knew you could do that....... I always wanted to control the keeper and make saves on free kicks and ****.

I'm going to try this.. but I gotta funny feeling this is not the way it works.

also often when you press 'Select' you'll get help ingame

what the triangle button making the keep come out?

I'm talking about manual goalie like actually controlling him.. can you do that in this game? I have the JAP version of WE7.. I don't think it's in my training mode.. if it is.. I can't find it.

I didn't think you have FULL control over him like with any other player; just the ability bring him off his line.

you can control his moves by holding L1 but in my opinion it's rather useless, I prefer just fast tap triangle and take the ball out of opponent's legs, it works for me in 90% of 1on1 situations

You obviously don't play much against other players.. ;) Holding down triangle against me is a sure way to make sure that I will shoot fake for an easy tap in, or fake chip, or chip. :D In many situations, however, it is a good idea. I do it all the time to friends who haven't caught on with the shoot fakes or chips.
