WE6I Free Kicks Help Thread

In training....... with players like Beckham I have been practicing my free kicks and I have yet to be able to score on them.

any help would be great!

this is what I know already......

Square = Default freekick shooting

Up + Square = Shoots the ball hard through the wall (Carlos style)
(to curve the ball, after letting go shoot button immediately press diagonally up)

Down + Square = Curls over the wall (Beckham style)
(to curve the ball, after letting go shoot button immediately press diagonally down)

I have not seen a free kick go in yet.

with becks, usually i press down, shoot 1/4 power meter, then immediate press shoot again to 1/2 power meter. 1/2 powermeter for about 25 - 30 metres. After the shooting meter reaches 1/2 power, i press diagonally down-left or diagonally down-right.

I hope u understand what i mean coz it's difficult to explain. U can see that technique i used in my man u move in my sig... erm in slow motion.

Try playing with BSplayer, u can play in slow motion at 1/2 rate.

I'm getting FE this week...


with all the movies I have seen... it for sure looks easier to score off free kicks in FE than International....

like I said... I haven't seen anyone.. CPU players or HUman players score off a free kick yet in International.

even when I practice in training... the goalie stops it everytime whenever I do get a good one on target. very frustrating.

Thanks. Yeah in FE it's easier to score freekicks when it's around 25 metres. It's pretty easy in PES 2 too, and WE6 (jap), but you will need more precise control over your d-pad or analog stick. Personally, i used the d-pad but of course, it's to your own preference. I've been playing WE for about 5 years.. since WE3 on ps1... earlier than ISS.
