(WE6) computer improves? actually so or bushwa?

After winning the treble in the ML I promptly began my 10th season. That was about 3-4 days ago. I stopped playing with a record of something like 4-10-1 (W-D-L) and not many goals scored. This seems like an ungodly (not even a word probably) record just because the draws were so consecutive and so many!

Anyway, my lack of offensive, more precisely described as lack of finishing could be viewed as better defense on the part of the computer. Yet in fact, these were open chances, nothing new from the computer, the same old same old, yet my players are actually blowing chances! I have heard that the computer actually improves and all that shiznat year after year, but it seems like it is actually making the performance of my players totally suck it! Not the computer adapting to my style of play and getting better!

Is this an actual possibilty, because I don't, and haven't seen how the computer actually changes things around to improve itself against me? It just seems to make my players perform worse even though my actual performance is the same, if not improving!

I faced the same thing. I won Div 1 for the first time on Level 4 with Barcelona a month ago. The following season I had something like 12 draws (maybe 4 consecutive draws mainly 0:0) and lost out on the Div1 title by 2 points
I felt like my players just collectively started missing so many chances. At some point I also felt that the team could'nt create much. I had to fiddle around with the formation to start winning again.

The next season I got Aimar, Batistuta and Figo and won the Treble for the first season

Now I'm with my favourite team Liverpool, won Div3 on my first season, finished 4th in Div 2 and in my first season in Div 1 won the Title. This was with the actual Liverpool squad...I am NOT going to sign any of the superstars (zidane, figo, ronaldo, etc)
