the thing is they could easily have won this world cup the way things have panned out. If Beckham was fully fit and Gerrad was there they probably would have done so.

Let me get this straight, your from Scotland (judging from your avatar) and you agreed England had a chance? :confused:

But I agree if Beckham was fully fit and Gerrard was present, maybe we would of had more possesion in midfield and also looked an alround more convincing team to have reached where we did :|

I don't neccesarily think the England team was particularily good but the standard of the teams in the quarter finals were generally crap. thats why I believe this may have been your best chance at a trophy.

So so sad. If an English fan had made this thread about another team, the mods would've been on him instantly. What's the beef with England anyways? :confused: Everytime I see a topic about England I hear :' Englands are twats!!!!. England are arrogant!!!!!! England are hooligans!!!' England are this England are that!!!!! Hmmm.... Where is Wales? *puts hand over eyes and searches* Where are the Scottish? *puts hand over eyes and searches* They were no where to be seen. While we were busy beating Argentina, they were nice and comfy at their homes. When you guys lose, English fans don't treat you all half the way you treat us. It's ridiculous. All I see is ignorance all around. Some idiot said that Owen dived against Argentina when it was plain as day that he was tripped. When their teams are unsuccessful, England haters all band together and attack England. It's a pattern. Same thing with Man Utd. I just shake my head and wonder.
