WE 8 Master League. Discussion + Questions

Players get tired quicker. Pires especially gets real tired after like 2 or 3 games. I think you have to make subs more often. Plus when the players go on international duty they come back a little tired sometimes. So putting them in right away might not be a good Idea.

Im having my master league with arsenal. I skipped Division 2 and went straight to 1 to play premiership. Liverpool keeps owning and cant seem to loose. What I love is that all the BIG clubs stay on top and the little guys well they struggle more.:rockman:

Yes, but I think it does not restore the tiredness (the red bar under the green one). So you still need to sub players at the time...

wait, wait, whats the difference.

I've had pes 3 for some time now and i didn't know there was a difference.

Is a player's potential growth capped by that growth curve?
You know how when you press R1 to "x3" and zoom in to look at the curve, it shows how much progress the player has made.

If nothing changes the red line, wouldn't that indicate how much time you should really spend on training that player?

Anyone have players going above that red line?

Not exactly a bustling discussion of WE8 ML around here lately. What's up? Everybody waiting for PES?

Who's finished a ML season yet? What are your experiences? Who are you playing with? At what age do players typically retire? Any success with acquiring players?

Playing ML straight out with top teams is a nice addition. However, it's much more fun, I've found, to start out with a crap squad -- not necessarily the default team -- and build your team.

When a player retires he comes back as a talent eg. When Beasant retires at 45 he will come back as a young player available to all teams to buy ;)

I think he's right...
when a player retires he comes back as a youth player but with crap stats... you need to train and nurture him over several seasons so that he becomes as good as his 'parent' or even better.

Been playing a few matches of WE8 ML.
Began with the Bolton team on 5*. Currently 2nd after about 7 matches of Div 2. Seems to be going well. But I lost to the top team after a shocking keeper error where he deflected it onto the post and it came back and stayed between his legs while he just stood there and the Seville striker tapped in for a simple goal. :f***:

Hoping that the top 2 in Div 2 get promoted
But it did tell me that Djorkaeff and Poole were going to retire soon. End of this season? That ain't good!

And my WEFA ranking wasn't that great either. Oh well. I'll need to buy a few players - typical Bolton type players? Where Rivaldo and Baggio?! :mrpimp: :rockman:

Yeah...great to actually choose the clubs you compete against...saves you lamenting that you get a huge spread of club opponents.

Too bad I put Real Madrid in my second division list by mistake!!!! Grrrrr....they beat me to the tope...(naturally)...

Don't know if it has been asked before...
Are there any different type of penalty kicks, like the one Postiga scored in the Euro 2004 against England?
If so could anyone post the types in the video section?
Thanks in advance...

Yep that's true. Except for some of the classic players who's stats are great to begin with.

just a master league question.

can you turn the ageing off in master league to stop your players retireing as well as the computer teams making transfers

Starting XI
they should really have players under 24 who have the capacity to improve, having like a potential rating.

Like maybe joaquin would have a raw talent like pace that cant improve, but can decrease due to injury. His movement can improve through experience etc. but things like his heading wouldnt improve much since hes a winger .

U see my point
