Ironically, he's one of the few American players who are enjoying a strong season in club football right now (Howard and Onyewu being the other two that come to mind).ShiftyPowers;2624378 said:Bocanegra is a total bum. Can we please find someone capable to stick next to Gooch? I don't need Franz Beckenbauer here, I'll settle for Eddie Pope circa 1998.

The 'no internet' part is true. It's also true about Mexico playing better in Mexico but the way that the US has had our number, a tie wouldn't be surprising. WE of course don't want those "surprises" to happen.skiptomylou;2623731 said:We all got deported. No internet in Mexico.
I'm pretty sure you'll beat us in the return leg. Estadio Azteca gives you guys perhaps the strongest home field advantage out of any national team in the world. I'm certain Bob Bradley & co. will try their best to prepare for it, though... Last time around they prepared for the game by practicing in Colorado, at an indoor facility with several cars running inside, releasing their exhaust fumes. This was meant to simulate the altitude and smog of Mexico City. I think this year they should go all out and practice at a coal-burning plant in Peru.ronnifan9;2633092 said:The 'no internet' part is true.
