i just watched super estadio, and they showed all the fouls that were called and missed. talk about dirty, Mexico was playing clean compared to the US.

I found it rather amusing that a lot of you guys actually thought you could win but it wasnt' to be. I'll admit, I was nervous as f*ck after you guys scored in the second half as our team yet again made us sweat it out, Kikin could have eased the pressure but he just couldn't kill the game off. Borgetti had a hell of a game and proved me wrong. Solid win and we're on the right path for qualification. (Y)

i was seein that sh!t on espn the other nite and to me it seemed like nothin but fuccin propaganda, fucc espn, that sh!t was funny when they showed some of the us players wit oxygen masks, they couldnt breathe, LOL

Is everything propaganda? Facts are facts, the Mexican fans treat our players and fans like sh*t and thats what the show was showing. We would never boo another countries national anthem or throw the things that they throw at a player. The show might have been alittle biased but thats all.

And when Donovan was talking about the played that threatened to kill his mom, why did he say "I'm not gonna name any names"? I know why, because if he did name a name that player would come out and say it was a lie. At that point it would be one player's word vs another... and seeing how Donovan is lieing, he wanted to avoid that. And that mexican player, if anything, probably told him "chinga tu madre" and Donovan just thought it meant "i'm gonna kill ur mom".

But yeah, the oxygen masks were funny as hell. :D

That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Do you purposedly try to be retarded or does it come naturally?

I don't agree with Arena on this either, but all he's asking for is a little sportsmanship. To me, the fact that the players didn't exchange shirts after the game just goes to show the contempt they have for eachother. That's great to see because it's the mark of a true rivalry. That said, had Mexico won that game (fair and square, no cheap shots or diving) I think at least a couple of American players would have exchanged shirts.
