ps: raymondo shut me up i been hard on him and his choices for starting players and system, but against spain he did the right thing for once. i hope he can keep it up, although ribéry still plays for the forces of evil (l'OM) he had a great match hopefully he can keep it up too.

things i didnt like on the pitch, henry getting caught offside like 20 times, after 4 or 6 times you catch on to it, i guess he had some tactical assignment or something that made him forget about the os trap

Unbelievable. I can't believe they'd do sumthin like that. I had respect for the Spanish (I'm a Real Madrid fan), but now I've lost all respect for dirty garbage like that. It all started from that fat-old-f*ck Aragones and down to the last Spaniard that jeered the French anthem. First time in this WC for a pathetic nation.

I think you misinterpreted my post because I don't hate him, but if you atcually watch zindane play you might notice that he is effective for only 2 minutes while the rest of the 88 minutes he has no positive input in the game.
Why do you think France had only 39% of the possesion? I honestly think France can put someone else in, who can offer more than he is offering. He's inspirational to some of the players, but lets be real Zidane isn't even half the player he was in euro 04. Anyone who says otherwise should actually watch him play a full game. Zidane is over the hill, the only players keeping France as France are Ribery, Vieira, Makelele and Barthez. Those four guys are making the difference these days and they're the ones allowing France to barely squeeze through.

you are right he's old, but he played a good game against the spaniards.

now this is what happens when you don't read the news or watch the press conference, domenech practically said he was goin to give possession to the spanish and he did, why do you think ribery and malouda were playing so low?, he wanted to clog the midfield cuz the spanish side had a great passing midfield, there was this passage of the game where you could see vieira, make and zz trying to block fabregas from making a decent pass, which means he had to be there instead of being his free roaming self.

like i said a few posts earlier domenech knew he couldn't keep our current team running behind the ball during the 90mins so he did what he could to block the spaniards, he kept everybody in the midfield and played for henry which meant the longballs what annoyed me was that ok henry felt for the offside trap but there was no one else who could break the trap until ribery.

Yeah, so happy here in France (H) Zidane was born in Marseille, Ribéry is (was?) the best Marseille's player last season.. How can I ask more? :bob:

Zizou is still here! Maybe his best game since 2 or 3 years.. And the best for France NT since Euro 2000 IMO.

Now Brazil... So hard. I'm hopeful but Seleçao is better. Wait and see.

I love that pic of Zidane and Ribery. Shows his class man. He's been helping that youngster so much on the squad it's fantastic. He never gave up hope on him in the NT. Gotta love Zidane even more :)
