crap :(

Mexico deserved to win this game.

It must be very frustrating for Mexico fans to play 2 games in a row against teams stronger in theory, outplay both and lose both games :(

Major respect Mexico, they gave a hell of a fight :jap:

in the end this could have gone either way, but Maxi's cracker decided the match.

by far the most exciting game in this WC, I hope the following matches are at least half as good....

Congrats to the Argies, but IMO Heinze should had received the Red instead of the yellow. Referees have been a disaster in this round IMO.

Very hard victory, but Argentina have done it...

I have to say, i'm impressed with Osorio... whatta defender!!! Woww...

Mexico did very well (likewise against Portugal)... it's a pity to see them being eliminated, after playing with such heart... they showed that they don't fear Argentina nor any other Big Gun, and they made argentinian fans sweat and pray at times... ... propzz for the Mexican NT! :jap:

Damn, what a tough way to go out on a goal like that. Well, this team came out and did everything they possibly could. They made us proud today, a major improvement over how we did in the group stage but it just wasn't to be.

I'm pissed at the ref though, it seemed that Argentina was getting most calls today. Whatever, doesn't make much of a difference now.

We lost to a GREAT team like Argentina, but at no time were they EVER better than us on the field. We didnt deserve to lose this one. :( And no REAL mexican fan who has been with this team thru everything can feel dissapointed with this, it was one of our best WC games ever. Lavolpe is above the rest having taken us only to the quarter finals, but playing like champions and losing cuz of acracking shot by Maxi. All i can say is... what else can u ask from our Mexican boYs? NOTHING

Congrats to Argentina for going through. The mexicans can also be very proud of their team, their best perfomance in this World Cup so far, you showed the world you're not an average team (Y)

I'm definitely proud of how we played. Literally left it out on the field. Argentina were the favorites to begin with, and they had to give it their all to beat us. I guess it's a moral victory, though it's a painful one; I'm not ashamed of our team being out of the World Cup.

Good game by Argentina, it could have really gone eitherway, but with shots like that you can't really stop them. Hopefully this performance gets some of our players some tickets to European sides, because players like Salcido, Osorio, Castro and Guardado deserve to play in the old continent.
