Ricardo is the first keeper that saves 3 penalties in the same definition.:jambo:

It sucks to lose on penalties.:(

But i got to be honest that seeing these two play this way it would seem that neither side deserved to win in the semi-final.

knock that sh!t off notorious. being a thread troll and instigator will get you carded and eventually banned in a hurry. consider this a warning.

I thought Rooney did step on the guy on purpose, but then again, I can't be sure. Also, I thought the ref should have called a foul on Rooney (or against him) as there was tugging and all during the play.

England was quite good after his sending off, and if you consider the opposition and the situation, they did great. Settling for penalties may be bad, but it's not like England had any choice at all. The players were all tired, they were out there fighting for one hour with one man less, and still doing some attacking. Lampard's miss when he tried a volley/scissor kick was a bit laughable, and so was Crouch trying to get the ball inside the portuguese box.

Congrats to Portugal. Anyone could have won this and it'd be well deserved. The spectacle would be better if Rooney stayed on, but still. Ricardo was amazing during PKs and Scolari does it again. England really should have gone for him, but he didn't like all the press, so maybe the English will stick it to the press the next time their manager is criticized.

Now go on and win the damn thing Portugal. Good luck.

Hargreaves was excellent and so was Lennon. Gerrard and Lampard were completely invisible again.

All 4 CBs were class.

Should be time to renew for you guys. Drop Beckham and Lampard, start Hargreaves and Lennon.

who got the official Man Of The Match? It's a disgrace if it's anyone but Hargreaves.

it was Hargreaves. I still think it should be either Lennon or Ricardo.

Most chances came through Lennon's runs and Ricardo won the game for Portugal

no surprises there, it always happens around Euro/World Cup time. they usually quickly leave or get banned, whichever comes first..

I love lennon, his first time on the ball he created a big chance which rooney and lampard missed.

Hargreaves (Y)

I look forward to our future with this team.

b/c they're happy that england lost.

you know, i was never a big fan of john terry, but i've always respected him as a player and the heart and soul of chelsea's star-studded lineup. but seeing him in tears was a very sad scene, because i know that's a player that did everything he could possibly do to help his team win. you just know he's a player that played his heart out.

It was a very shocking sight, terry being the monster he is, and the warrior he is for both chelsea and england, crying? Damn it almost made me cry :(

Hargreaves was incredible throughout the game. Ricardo was pretty shakey up until the penalties. Lennon would've been a good call but Hargreaves was just immense.

Wrong.... Gerrard has been S.H.I.T. His penalty was the final proof that he as well as Lampard, have been useless to England this time out.

Gerrard was pretty ok in this World Cup apart from this one game methinks. He got 2 goals, cleared one off the line against Sweden aswell. Lampard, well, i cant manage to say one decent contribution of him.
