Lets wrap this up already. Everybody wants to see Ghana-Australia, which I'm sure you'll all agree will be the biggest game of the tourney to date.

A win but not convincing.

Thumbs down for Afellay could have squared the ball to Van Persie for a better goal scoring opportunity chose to shoot, had a great chance at goal and the keeper saved it.

Deserved victory to the Afrikaners. It wasn't pretty but after what happened with Germany, England and Spain, I'm sure they'll happily take it.

It's puzzling how two teams that can play some of the most attractive football in their respective continent can come up with such a stale affair.

Japan will be disappointed the goal came off sloppy goalkeeping, they came close to scoring at the end, they should have it in them to get over Denmark.

Now more importantly: C'MON 'STRAYA!!! :sKIp_E:

Would love the Aussies to get something out of it for their great fan support. But it will be hard with such a negative coach without Cahill and a defense that is aging and doesn't look good.

Agree, an Australian win would throw this group wide open. We have beaten Ghana before, 4 times out of 6 in fact. However, Ghana picked up a lot of momentum after their win, Australia could not be more of a contrast, there'd been rumours all week of Australian players calling the heads of the Australian federation to complain that the coach is clueless.

I just want to see a good game, for Australia to attack and at least have an attempt at winning it. Ghana have the problems too of course, no Essien, and both regular centre-backs are out. Could be a close one.

It would be hilarious if we would continue this kind of football and finally win the world cup for a change.

I can already envision the final versus Germany. The Germans with their attacking and revolutionary total football get a penalty in the first minute, but us, the result-minded and effective Dutchies that we are, stick at it and in the end we win 2-1.
