The following eight teams are already qualified for the World Cup:

1-South Africa (Host)
2-Japan (AFC)
3-Australia (AFC)
4-North Korea (AFC)
5-South Korea (AFC)
6-Netherlands (UEFA)
7-Brazil (CONMEBOL)
8-Ghana (CAF)

Africa: 4 other teams will qualify as well (Ghana Qualified), the current standing:

Asia – Oceania: Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will play each other and the winner will face New Zealand for a last spot of AFC-OFC zone.

North, Central America and Caribbean: 3 teams will directly qualify, the current standing:

South America: 3 other teams will directly qualify as well (Brazil Qualified), the current standing:

South America -CONCACAF: the 5th place team of South America will go to a playoff against the 4th-place CONCACAF team.

Europe: Eight other group winners will qualify directly (Netherlands already qualified) and eight best seconds will go for playoffs, the current standing:

Its funny how Group 9 got screwed for the playoff spot, by having to play 2 games less. It was gonna be almost impossible for the 2nd placed team in that group to finish above any of the other 2nd placed teams.

Yes, I know I posted this.. but it worth it once again. maradona is not the obvious choice, and he doesn't know who his best players are. He may think that Messi is similar to him, but he can't win a game by himself.

I expect them to still make it through the playoffs.
