WC 2006 - Ghana vs USA (June 22nd)

I doubt we would of won even if it would of been 1-1 at HT. I think we are all underestimating how good Ghana really is. Now that I've calmed down a bit I'm thinking back of their three games and I realize that they are a damn strong side with two excellent midfielders in Essien and Appiah and a bunch of other players that play around them perfectly.

Two good things we can get from this WC is that Onyewu and Dempsey performed very well which is good to see because they are young promising players. Let's just hope they dont' turn into the next Donovan and Beasley

It sucks, but in the 90th minute there's no reason to go around hacking at the other players. I would have absolutely felt like doing that if I was on the field considering we were losing because of a garbage penalty, but you have to control yourselves and lose with class.

Which says a lot, if a fan is more pissed then the coach for their crappy performance.

One thing I'd like to point out is that Arena never once blamed himself for the mistakes we made which is a terrible move on his part. God I hope he's fired.
