McBride looked lonely because every time we actually got down the flank he was huffing and puffing to get into the box. I can remember numerous occasions when he was too slow into the box. And what the hell is crossing to one guy going to do if there's 4 guys around him anyway?

Four random thoughts on today's match:
1. Landon Donovan has proven yet again that he can't produce on the big stage. We all know what he's capable of, but it seems that he just doesn't give a f*ck whether he wins or loses.
2. This US team became a victim of its own expectations. Many people said that this was the best USMNT ever. Judging by results, this team harldy covered themselves in glory.
3. Bruce Arena's tactics. Come on, its only the biggest match we've played in the last 4 years. 4-5-1 only wins you a return home, instead of passage to the next round.
4. I seriously think that the rot has started to set in. Bruce Arena may be without a doubt the best manager the US has ever known at all three levels (collegiate, professional, and international), but I feel its time to move on, for the sake of soccer in the United States.

Tough game for you guys...I thought nearly every disputable call went against the US. Also, it seemed like their players went to ground rather easily when any kind of contact was made with Onweyu.....and Merk bought it everytime!

Congrats to Ghana, not undeserved they are a good side but this one was given as a present by Markus Merk, that guy is a real b@st@rd and they should ban him from the field as a ref
