The most amazing day of my life... Celebrating felt like I was in Italy... Took a ride with a few cars up the block to a major road in my area where there's a bunch of Bakeries... One of the bakeries was hosting the game with two big screen TV's during the game... It most of been over 50 people, incredible... We all got out of the car and just starting singing the national anthem, we pretty much shut down the road. I even got the cop to sound off her horns and lights, awesome. Bunch of guys there had Ferraries (Spelling?) so we decided to make a train and we had 15 cars travel around the town beeping the horns and waving the flag. I was on the sun roof and almost fell off the car twice, lol. My pop's BMW no longer has a horn, lol... Free cookies and pizza, not to mention beer, amazing celebrations.
For the game... The first half was pretty much even. The penalty shouldN'T of been, obvious dive. Cheeky Zidane scored a fantastic PK. Nice replay by the Italians with Materazzi! Second half througnout overtime was all France. Italy just looked like crap and like they ran out of gas... Henry was phenominal, hands down incredible and nearly broke the Italian defense many times. Zizou was Zizou and had a wonderful header that was brilliant saved by Jesus, oops I mean Buffon!
Zizou's headbutt single handly places an ugly mark on his career. Classless act that I am still in shock over. I don't care if Materazzi made fun of his mother and sister, classless act and a just red card (Thank you linesman.)
I couldn't believe I was ruiting for a PK but Italy just looked like crap. What a way to win going 5 for 5 on PKs winning their first ever WC match on PKs to win the title. A day I will never forget, FORZA ITALIA, NUMERO UNO DE LA MUNDO!
