watching Oldham will kill me.. or make me go bald

yesterday I travelled to the wonderful fishy town called "Grimsby" too watch my beloved Oldham Athletic.

considering all the up's and down's this season what with the club nearly folding, our manager lying too us fans until he got a better job offer then f**ked off, losing 12 players in the summer after our chairman tried too screw us over and make me club no more. having too stand on a freezing cold hill bucket in hand begging for any change people had just so I was doing my bit for my club. It's been a summer/season that i'll never forget and one I hope i'll never have too go through with my club again.

but yesterday was shocking and make's me wonder if it would have been better if Oldham did fold.

we had 18 shots on goal, ten on target, played against ten men for 70 minutes, had 14 corners and two goals dissalowed and scored 3.

yet, we only managed too get a point out of the game:confused:

Why do we bother???

I guess that's why football (it's not called "soccer") is the greatest game in the world:mrpimp:

and now we play the monkey hangers (hartlepool) tomorrow.

we still have no manager and the investors are coming in next month when who know's who well buy.

Hudson is class, back at Oldham for his second spell this season and a Latics favourite at the minute.

Unless Dowie snaps him up for Palace i can see us signing him when the investors come in on 15th january :rockman: :rockman: :rockman:

Hopefully Coleman wont want him back anytime soon.:rockman:

I can completely sympathise with your position mate.

As the next few months could well signal the end of my beloved HMFC, I really don't know what I would do with myself if I did not have a club to follow. In fact it's really scary contemplating something that could very well turn out to be real. After all, following the Hearts gave me a reason for slogging through a week, for earning that bit extra cash.

Basically, Hearts are what I live for.

I've been through the glorious highs and the dull, horrible lows. 16 May '98, gubbed 4-0 at Brockville, 6-2, 5-1, 4-4, 2-1, countless hammerings from the Old Firm which made the rare wins that much more sweeter, from 'Sunny' Stirling to the town squares of Bordeaux, The brilliant Euro nights against Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Stuttgart and Real Mallorca, the countless head-in-hand moments when losing a derby goal or when their 4th just snuck in, the delirious celebrations of goals which in that instant of the ball hitting the net, literally meant the world to you.

Now we enter a stage of our club's history where Tynecastle will no longer be our home. The question is, how much longer will we actually have a club? :(

There is a much more different side to football than glamour CL games folks.

Hudson isnt going anywhere mate...sorry! Coleman has already said he see's him partnering Zat Knight in a few years time. He's gonna become our regular centre back.
Its good to see him doing so well, its much better tan him sitting in the reserves!

too say today's game was sh!te would be a compliment.

You Can Keep Hudson Fulham Fan, our defence is absolutely garbage at the minute. it's no wonder the keeper who kept 19 clean sheets last season has no confidence in them.:(

I think dowie will take him too Palace on loan anyway.

I bet you came home from Grimsby smelling of fish?

Hopefully City will be playing Grimsby next season in the 2nd division.

it could have been worse, do u remember the name darren mackie? oldham made a bid of £800,000 for him 2 seasons ago! WE REJECTED IT!! im not sure whos more stupid, u lot for making the bid or us for rejecting it! :p he was pretty good then, but these days hes ****e, he hardly even gets a game for our reserves and is on £3,000 a week!
