I have recently received a complaint about the amount of PC threads swamping any chance of a console thread survivng.

I would like all users to decide whether or not it would be a good decision to split the PES/ISS/WE forum into two with forums for Console format games and one for PC format games.

The two editing and game footage forums would disappear and it would now just consist of a Console Forum and a PC Forum.

I don't think it's necessary, the only thing that's different are the TECHNICAL issues on PC, so I suggest just to make a subforum called: "technical issues"

the other stuff that's PES-related applies to the PS2 and PC version

Since the PC version is a direct port from the console, it will not be handy to split it PC/PS2. That would mean 2 forums to check for issues concerning gameplay. So a division PES/technical issues sounds better. Makes sense anyway with all the threads about slo-mo! Maybe an extra patch-corner (kits, roster, etc)would also be useful.

I agree with Ray and Frommelgoal. The only difference is the technical part. So yes, a technical part is enough.
It would bring more double topics if you vote yes, because all about gameplay is exactly the same.
I viewed the votes sofar and like it is now it will split off.
That's why I propose to make:
A) A gameplay forum (for both PC and PS2)
Two seperate technical forums (one for PC and PS2 each)
C) A general forum for other posts which do not fit in the catagories A or B
This is the best way to avoid double gameplay-posts.

Don't see a prob with how it is right now. If u insist on making a change create a Tech support forum. There is no other difference between PC and PS2 versions.
Going by your first post you only recieved 1 complaint...

Well, sort of. Its the only really big complaint I have recieved but I have had people moan about it.

I do see a problem with the current setup. Ain't no threads about the console version survive on the main page. Every single decend topic about the PS2 PES3 or WE7I (that is coming to da U.S.) gets kicked in the ass and pushed back to 2nd or -> page and it's really hard to pick'em out.

Just do something about it.

Why do people post kit and patch threads in this forum when they got the Editing Section for that? Why is every thread about a goddamn slowdown, laggy menu, game crushing, etc.? It's time to clean up this mess 'coz this ain't the same WE/PES/ISS forum it used to be and it used to the da ******* BEST one on da net.
