too bad you've missed them, they were 3-4 weeks ago, i go every year cause of my background, its real fun. :)
i dunno about vietnam ACTUAL culture, i just know the majority of the population is buddist.... i have never been to vietnam, but am planning with my family.

Wtf, that really happened, in one of the villages we were teaching these kids english and stuff. and there was this old man staring into the classroom looking pissed and stuff. When we left he stopped us and started talking in Vietnamese and started pointing to the Vietnam flag. We assumed he was giving us a lecture about how we should come back again to help them or something so we nodded our head and left but suddenly he took out a stick and whacked my friend in the leg adn started throwign rocks at us next he chased us over a bridge...
