Very Important Question About Xbox Live!!!

This is so important.

I have Madden 2005 on the Xbox right now. My brother and I were so pumped about playing on live against some other people.. we waited patiently for it to come out.

But guess what?!

It DOESN'T LET TWO PLAYERS PLAY AT THE SAME TIME ON ONE XBOX!!

Why the hell would they ever do that?? Only one player on each xbox?? my friends have to WATCH me play!!! Who thought that up??

So a VERY important question now is.. will FIFA 2005 allow up to 4 players on each xbox play vs. each other on XBOX live??

God I hope so or that feature is useless... I don't want my friends to WATCH me play on live.. I want us to be able to play against up to 4 players on the other end..

THAT'S WHY YOU PUT 4 CONTROLLER PORTS THERE ISN'T IT??!!

In the recent TeamXbox review, http://interviews.teamxbox.com/xbox/886/FIFA-2005-Interview/p1, the Producer says:

"Danny Isaac: We have one vs. one in Xbox Live. We looked into supporting more players but unfortunately the amount of effort involved didn’t make sense. As a producer that’s one of the hardest things, you know a feature would be cool but there are other priorities that need that resource. We’ll see what the future brings!"

So the answer is it's only one on one. Better than last year though where there was no online mode.

Then i'm afraid EA has let me down..

They won't be getting my money this year.

I'll be downloading their game for pc for free.. that's all they deserve this year.

It makes no sense..

I remember pc games in the past having this option.. from EA at that..

But basically tell me now that they are too stupid to put it into the game. One year isn't enough time apparantly... screw them.

Don't get me wrong, i've bought EA games like a crazed fan for so long now.. since 93 i'd say...

But their inability to provide a basic technological feature is too much right now.

So .. i'll be using a piece of technology I do have available to me to give you exactly what you deserve EA. It's called the internet.. and i'm going to use it to download your hunk of crap for free.. shame.. otherwise you had me down for another 4 games at least just like every other year for the past 11 years or so.

You are talking about Xbox Live, right? FIFA online has never been on Xbox Live before. So that is something.

This feature has been on the PC version and I don't see why it won't be again this year.

Yes but it's impossible to find a friggen good quality controller that works on the pc..

but live only has one vs one.. which is gay

so I lose both ways

Therefore.. no money for EA.. or should I say.. no more money.. they already screwed me on madden 2005.

You must be kidding me right? No quality controllers for the PC? There are endless quality controllers. And if they're not good enough get an adapter so you can play with your Xbox controller.

And your whole point before was that EA removed something that was already there, which is not true because it's never been online on the Xbox. And you can see that this is something the developers thought about but they are not super-human and can implement everything in one year. No doubt they'll be looking into this next year.

To me you're just fishing for an excuse to pirate.

Name me one quality controller for the pc that works with Fifa..

and you can't say Logitech anything because all you have to do is go to their forums and see how many of us have faulty controller after faulty controller.

But the advantage was that you could play online with the pc..

So you sorta just had to find the best you could.. I personally use a Thrustmaster Dual Power gamepad.. everything works except the right analog stick because the drivers aren't compatible with EA.. or should I say.. EA doesn't support the gamepad.

But we all know how important right analog stick is.. it does the moves.. and this year it does the first touch system.

So what can you do if you are on the pc?? Not much. The only stick I know of that they supported was the Logitech dual action... big mistake... like I said.. see for yourself on their forums.

I found out the hard way about logitech's quality.

If you can name ANY other gamepad.. please do.. but I started an entirely seperate thread about the pc gamepad issue a long time ago.. and nobody has been able to tell me one that is fully supported by EA.. other than the Dual action.. which is crap.

Back to the point. All of this didn't matter anymore to me because Fifa was coming out on the xbox with live. But now I find out it's only one vs. one.

Which is ridiculous in my opinion.

If they can do it on the pc with more than one player on each end .. then they can do it on the xbox.

I'm sure i'm not the only one dissapointed by this.

And it's unfortunate that I can't just buy a gamepad that friggen WORKS GOD DAMNIT for the PC so that i can play the game on there.

So what do I do!!??

Play on the PC without the first touch ability!!?? Yeah that makes sense I'll play without the BIGGEST FEATURE they come out with this year.

Or do I play the highly dissapointing xbox version without the ability to play against my cousin in New York with my brother and I on our xbox at home?

It's not an excuse to pirate.. tell me what my options are.. either way i'm paying AGAIN for something that doesn't work for me.

If you could see the massive library of EA Sports games in my room dating back to NHL93 for the Genesis.. all the way up to Madden 2005 for the xbox now you would think twice before telling me i'm looking for an excuse to pirate.

Ok, your options are:

1. Don't pirate the game
2. Pirate the game

Either way you'll end up with the same game.

or you just got it... give it a week or so... lol

And as much as i'd like to give EA a good solid pirating of their game.. i've bought every title since 93 like I said... and they'll probably get me again.. no matter how pissed I am.

Probably go for Xbox since at least I can use all the controls.

God sometimes I hate you so much EA... so very much.
