Actually he is like 18-19 or somewhere near that age and is already a quality player, that is known world wide, just like Chivu. He is great and young. One of those big, exciting players Ajax keeps on offering to the world. Trust me he is well-known already.;)

i think it's amazing how ajax can continue to bring up quality players through their youth systems and stay competitive in both league and europe. most teams would die if they had to sell all their stars every year.

Haha yeah. Like Litmanen was treated all that well at Liverpool, I don't think he's got many happy memories there.

How come it seems like Netherlands have some of the best youth systems and youth players but they have been playing **** for the past years in the youth Netherlands teams.

1.) It doesn't seem, its a fact.
I'm not exagerating(sp?) if i say that *barf*Ajax Amsterdam*barf* have the best youth academy in the world.
2.) They just have shítty national coaches i guess.

and Rafa van der Vaart will go to Man. United, so in a couple of years this will be Man. United:

van der Vaart - Ruud - Ronaldo
Richardson - Kléberson - Fletch
O'Shea - Silvestre - Rio - Wes Brown
Howard(Schmeichel the II)

We don't have ****ty coaches, but it just seems all those (young) stars can't play good together. That's pretty much the problem in the last few years IMO

Well, i guess thats just how many brilliant attacking players are.

You could call it "The Zlatan-syndrome", big talent = big ego(But good managers can make the little selfish bastards into team-players)

Great examples of Attacking players with huge egos are: Mario Jardel, Mido and Zlatan Ibrahimovic
