USA vs. Grenada [R]

Onstad is 36 so he is a bit long in the tooth. I would love to see him in the MLS. His skills are top class. He clearly has great instincts and everyone was saying how he was a great guy. After his perforance he should atleast be able to find a club to pay him full time.

for some strange reason, I agree with you, there were moments were some of the Grenada's showed some good technique, of course playing in that pool didn't help either team.

that second goal that they scored was class. It got their fans hyped.

Yea, he made some good stops, that were better than they looked when you consider he had no footing in that puddle

OK, I got that down on a napkin.

"uskid94 says Grenada will be a 'strong' team in 'like' 8 years."

I will now put this napkin in a time capsule which is to be opened no earlier than like June 21st, 2012. So I'll get back to you on that one.

Here is my lineup for USA

(and don't get on me for getting the side the defenders play on wrong, I always forget what side they play on)

Howard

Cherundolo Hejduk Bocanegra Pope

Donovan Reyna Armas Beasley

Mathis Razov

I'd consider putting Armas at defense and Wolff at midfield. They don't play those positions but Wolff is just too good to sit on the bench and Armas could probably play defense. Or maybe the US should go 3-4-3. Just take out Pope (he's too old), and put in Wolff at center forward.

:kader:  Buddy you are smoking something hard. No way you play a 3-4-3 with this US squad. By the way the game already happened....where have you been? And by the way your formation and idea suck azz.

Where has John O'Brien been in these past qualifying games? Is he going to play at all in the qualiyfying matches? He is one of the best players we have and I rarely see him play in international matches. And yes I understand he plays for Ajax but youd think he would have played against Grenada.

I'm not predicting that formation the game, I already know it happened, I'm just saying that would be my lineup of choice. What is wrong with it?
